Food processing sector has majorily focus on 3 Institutions in India IIFPT,CFTRI,NIFTEM. As IIFPT has a good research base providing M-Tech So I joined there. CFTRI only offers M.Sc Programme. NIFTEM is taken by GATE score. IIFPT is based on both gate and entrance score
Course Curriculum Overview
Food processing sector is most doing sectore at present in India. So got intrested to choose in it. Highly qualified faculty all are doctrates with minimum H-Index of 4 in their research work. Exams occur every 6 months as a semester and courses affiliated to Tamilnadu Agriculture University
Internships Opportunities
As per our academics no internships are been offered. Our total second year is for the research only.
Placement Experience
As it's a research base college mainly focus on research studies. Ample amount of placements even off campus are good offerings. Mainly focussed towards food and neutraceutical Industries. Majorly startups.

Small beautiful campus fit for major research ethics. Fest annually occurs 2 times. As this institution is sparely related to food we have enough base of resources to access. We have Science club , Artist Club, Anti ragging committee, Institute Innovation Council

Admission
Written Test. Preparation same as gate. I Prepared for GATE agriculture engineering and ICAR exams the same syllabus was for the entrance examination.
