the reputation of the college is one of the best in Kochi and it is a very reputable college people have a different respect towards you if u are from this college
the infrastructure is pretty good and also they have multiple sports courts overall really well developed infrastructure
the placement opportunity is really good as multiple companies come and offer placements in their companies

Dislikes

faculty could be better and their teaching methods could be more interactive
too many rules to be followed from wearing a uniform to punctuality
it is not an autonomus college and it is linked with mg university which makes it a little bit confusing

course curriculam was pretty relevent as my course was bba but teaching methods could have been better it was more traditonal than more interactive and modern. obiviously u have smart classes but it could have been more practical and the timing of exams was also good as you get ample amount of time to prepare and write your exams and the difficulty was also average not that hard

The college has an eco friendly campus with lots of trees , plants, pets , birds , ponds , etc.
The teachers of the college are easy to approach and friendly.
The college provides high standard of latest technical infrastructure including gymn and other sports facilities.

Dislikes

The campus is small compared to other colleges.
The college timing is from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm reducing the campus life.
The college provides average importance and training to sports activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is provided by MG University Kottayam , which is easy to learn and score marks , but not that good to help in acquiring skills. The exam times and result dates are too long as it follows the MG University Calendar.

The boys and girls ratio is about 62 percent boys and 38 percent girls
It is a in a prime location being in info park with a bit infrastructure.
The crowd is good. When I joined the college itself I found a lot a good people to talk to and there wasn’t even any raging when u join.

Dislikes

The curriculum is followed by mg university so if we want to have an improvement exam or clear out supply we have to wait for a year
There isn’t much importance given to sports
Not many events that r of interest of the students

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements in Rajagiri. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester that is the third year. Companies like ey,Deloitte,Tata visit our campus. The highest package is around 6-7 lakhs a year the average package is 3.2 lakhs a year. The percent of students getting placed are only about 10 percent of students.

Likes

The infrastructure is the most attractive thing about our college.it is really advanced.
Very friendly faculty as most of them are really young which helps us to interact with them and give off a more comfortable environment
We are very engaged in social activities.theres alot of social works and commity that helps in the welfare of the people.

Dislikes

Partiality shown by the students and alot of groupism
Not enough exposure people from other districts.
Very loose communication by the students.

Placement Experience:

We have 90% placements.from the sixth semester students are eligible for campus placements. The highest package is 70,000 as far as I know and the lowest is 50,000 .My plan is to take masters in mass communication or i might presure masters in fashion communication.im planning to work abroad and maybe do my master's aborad

Life at RCMAS

Likes

They had many clubs and activities coming up during the final year. This included functions, seminars and workshops.
Once you find your circle, campus life will be really fun. Everyone are friendly
The class ends by 1:30pm which is the best thing so you have enough time to study after or hangout with your friends.

Dislikes

It is strict in usage of phones which is unnecessary
Strict about uniform in campus. Dress code for functions can also be strict
Teaching methods could be improved if the teacher's we're assigned a subject of their expertise.

The course is a triple main course which was interesting because it offered English literature along with communication and journalism. It provides a wide world of choices for the future pursuits. The teaching methods would be improved if the subjects were according to the teacher's expertise. Overall they provide us with all the necessary information and prepare us well for the exams. The exams are fine. It is only difficult if you don't study so overall it relies on us.

The overall activities that have been conducted in our college
Management has improved a lot after a year
The environment around the campus has a positive effect

Dislikes

When we first joined tte management was too strict
There used to be a dress code which was really unnecessary in my opinion
Practical works are not provided properly

Placement Experience:

The campus placement our college provide has a great value. They give us on of the best placements available. Many if seniors has got proper placements and got settled. From 5th semester students get the opportunity to get their placement.

Faculty is very friendly and approachable. They deal with students in a friendly manner which helps students to be comfortable in the campus.
Cultural programs and events are many. Fests , sports and other events , our college has it all and does it very well.
Placements and rank holders are many. 2023 batch had 40 rank holders from our college in mgu examination.

Dislikes

Keep exams continuosly starting from internal, mid exatrenal and then sem

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BA. English Triple Main which focuses on 3 courses that is English literature, communication and journalism. Even though course specifies the subjects curriculum mainky focuses on English Literature. I chose this course to mainly get into Journalism field but the course deprives of practical learning of journalism. But still English Literature curriculum is great in this course.
