The School of Engineering at Tezpur University is a reputed technical institute established in the year 2006 to impart quality education. It has been approved by AICTE. The institute has 9 departments that include Civil Engineering, Applied Sciences, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Energy, Food Engineering & Technology, Design, and Mechanical Engineering.
It offers 8 undergraduate, 9 postgraduate, and 6 Ph.D. programs in the field of engineering, along with an MCA program. Admission to the B.Tech program shall be based on the JEE (Main) all India Ranking. The institute has good academic facilities like smart classrooms, a computer center, smart lecture halls, labs, etc., to facilitate the learning process. The School of Engineering provides all basic facilities to students just like every other top engineering college such as library, laboratory, computer centre, Smart classrooms, smart lecture halls, Language lab, Video conference room, etc.
