The curriculum is very good for preparation of the real world applications. Clinical study and clinics classes should be given more priority. Teaching methods should be more clinically correlated. The frequency and timing of the exams are good

The course is very much practical based , we are taught every cases in clinical class on real patients after reading the theory from books. We also has one year mandatory internship in every departments .

Yes the faculty does influence you specially the physiology, surgery paediatric and medicine department sometimes is motivated enough to make u choose subjects further in life The ward clinic visit starts from Second year itself And they teach you History taking, physical examination, different diagonitic tests and modalities, different instruments, some surgeries and interaction ways More teacher student interaction in wards could motivate students more The exams frequency is around 3 months its ok , if study a bit regularly and systematically with a help of seniors passing will be bit easier but u have to work hard for it

The main reason behind taking up my Paramedical course is to work as a Lab Technologist in verious Hospitals and Medical Fields and for future research . In this hospital has all the facilities that help a student to get real lab experience and in this college every day blood samples of hundreds of patient and by doing various test syudents can learn it with their own hands . There are two exams in a year one Inernal Exam and one External Exam . The External exam is the final Exam and it is the university Exam

MBBS is a challenging course. However it is one of the most noble and respectable professions. I was personally attracted to the idea of pursuing MBBS because of its vast career opportunities that offer a person respect, money and is again beneficial for the society. This giees without saying that the syllabus to be covered is very extensive and examinations do take place once a month or every 2 months.

You will learn how to manage time and to deal with the world through this mbbs journey 3. Nowadays teachers come, open their laptops and start teaching through ppt. I think teaching through board work is more easy and beneficial for students 4. 2 semesters in each year and 1 professional exam at the end of each year. Papers are moderately tough. But if you prepare pyq thoroughly you will get 60-65% common questions. If I talk about practical and viva, it depends upon examiner's mood .

The medical field is vast and Interesting to study and gain knowledge from it. Overall teaching experience of the faculties here is good. Yes, the Internal exams are of moderate to difficult level and the university exam is similar for all the students of the medical college of West Bengal.
