Faculty to students ratios is good. Faculties varies among subjects . Clinical subjects have good number of teachers and if you count PGTs then its good Medicine department is preety good They teach very well Hod is good too Teachers Teachers good in wards visits Maybe the opinion varies bt accordingly to me microbiology department is not good too boring teaching methods In a span of 4.5 yrs u give 9 semesters made from college and 4 professional exams made from boards ar each year Passing in professional examination is needed to pass to next year Across the year first year has subjects of anatomy ,physiology ,biochemistry, second year subjects are pathology microbiology pharmacology, third year subject are ENT,community medicine, ophthalmology Forensic Forth year subjects are Surgery, Medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics Both semester exams and professional examination are tough and u need to get atleast 50 percent to pass and passing is necessary On a average 85 to 90 is passing rate The exams are fully based on NMC guidelines which is competency based Teacher teach too that way

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.
