Remarks

Admission is solely through neet. Application form on neet website. As compared to states like Delhi and Kolkata colleges have less cut off. Admission during field verification is a very tedious process. all documents should be prepared already and have to be very patient and careful.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As MBBS is a course that can make your dreams come true if you want to be a doctor since childhood. Here annually only 125 Students are taken as compared to other colleges in Kolkata. The faculties are excellent and well trained..also exams are a little bit unexpected but can be clear with little effort.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

An internship plays a major role in mbbs degrees without it one Can't complete his/her mbbs. 1 Year of the rotary internship has to complete by everyone in different departments like pedia, obs and gynae, medicine..etc. Also, a monthly stipend is provided by the west Bengal govt.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a government medical college. fees are very less almost free of cost but still provide the best education with well-maintained labs for practicals. Financial assistance is also given to needy students through various scholarships like the swami Vivekananda scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very noble. It gives us the power to heal others. When I was a child, i was impressed by the ability and skills of a doctor. The patient family were treating him like god. So i decided to pursue it because of the amount of respect and wealth we gain. In the real world it helps us to become a good person, interact with the injured society and connect to the people emotionally. Teaching methods could be improved by giving more and more real life examples and exposing to the wards and clinics. Learning is more fun when we do more practicals. The college must ensure that more and more practical classes and clinical exposure is given to the students so that they can learn effeciently. The cases of the cirriculum should be given to the students to look how they handle it.
