Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we were eligible for campus placement. Approximately 50 companies visited and all 90% offers were made and successful. The highest package was 500000 per annum and avarage was 200000 per annum. I didn't got into any company as I prepared for govt jobs after completing.

All About GIET, BHUBANESWAR

Likes

Teaching facility and good faculty having great educational background.
Laboratory. There is 5 computer laboratory present having Air Conditioned in the rooms and good quality systems.
Hostel rooms have separate bathroom attached in each room and only 3 beds present in a room.

Dislikes

The canteen food could be a little bit better.
Can have a good transportation to the Market.

Placement Experience:

The College provides a wide range of placement opportunities to the students. The students start getting their placements in the 6th semester. Most of the students get the placement in a CTC of 5-6LPA. And almost 95%students got the placement. I am thinking to get the placement from my college and enter into the professional job era.

An overall idea about GIET, BBSR.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in placements since the 7th Sem Can't be particular about the companies but many good companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, HCL, Jindal etc. visit the institute and offer vast opportunities to the students. Not sure about the package as per companies usually it differs. Almost half of the students you could say 45-50% getting placements. Actually, I joined Merchant Navy after getting the degree.

The Truth of Gandhi Institute of Excellent Technocrats Bhubaneswar

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester the students were eligible for campus placement as interns and from 7th semester they are eligible to sit in the campus placements for jobs. But the companies that came were not so good and the packages were really low as low as 160000. I got selected in an company in which gave my interview off campus.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onwards you are eligible for sitting on campus and every year college will give you more than 50 percent of campus. The minimum package is 2 LPA and the maximum package is 5 LPA. If you study well then definitely you will get the best job.

The facts of GIET

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester we became eligible for placements. The companies such as Reliance jio, Wipro ,infosys, Tech mahindra etc company comes to our college for placements and we get unlimited offers for campus. The highest average package we get is 5lakh per annum. The Percentage of students gets placed is 80%.My plans after getting degree is to get in the defense academies

Remarks:

The college's placement is not really good. So if you want to bag very good jobs it's probably not the place to come for. There are very few renowned companies that come during the placement season but the overall life was good.

Admission:

I got admission in the college through Jee mains. I got around 60,000 rank in JEE and I am from bhubaneshwar. So GIET seemed like the best choice. Students are accepted based on JEE rank and 12th grade score.
