Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is planned out in a good manner. I personally never felt stressed. It is important to complete the assignments on time ti prepare effectively for the exams. The exam structure consists of mid semester, end semester and unit tests in between.

Placement Experience

Around 60 percent of the students are placed. The placement scenario is not really good in the college. The highest salary per month was about 25,000 per month. Companies like asianpaints, tech mahindra and LG visited our campus. Training and internships are also provided in different domains.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible. The total fees amounts to 3.2 lakhs for four years. The fee for each year is 80,000 rupees. It is excluding the hostel fees , accommodation and personal expenses.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities are quite good. There are good sports and gym facilities and the students are really encouraged to take part in them. Students are treated in a fair manner and no is discriminated on any grounds.

Admission

I got admission in the college through Jee mains. I got around 60,000 rank in JEE and I am from bhubaneshwar. So GIET seemed like the best choice. Students are accepted based on JEE rank and 12th grade score.

Faculty

The faculty of the college are really good and help us immensely in realizing our potential . Mechanics was never my forte but I learnt everything deeply after coming here. They also motivate us during exams and give us a lot of tips.

Placements are quite good. Thats precisely why i chose this college . The highest offer last year was 52 lpa . Other than that average package is 6 to 8 lpa for cse students . Mostly all students get placed . A few companies that come for placements are Infosys, TCS , JP Morgan , Deloitte , Bookings holidays , Cognizant, Accenture .

I would rate five out of five about the curriculum of the giet university because it is more updated in comparison of other universities of odisha. The exams are taken in the gap of one and a half month. There is no need to update the curriculum

chose this college over the other colleges you applied to because of good placement as compared to other colleges . The college fees is also good from others.
