I gave the JEE Mains exam and applied using the JEE Mains results. OJEE Mains exam candidates can also apply. We do get some state scholarships based on our marks and caste. I would suggest the scholarships should be based on the student's financial conditions and not on their caste.

I chose Mechanical engineering because I have an interest in automobiles and powerplants. The faculty-to-student ratio was approximately 1:10. Most of the faculty were not highly qualified and the teaching process was very bad and they lacked to provide us with proper practical classes. The exams were quite difficult and occurred timely.

From the 6th semester the students were eligible for campus placement as interns and from 7th semester they are eligible to sit in the campus placements for jobs. But the companies that came were not so good and the packages were really low as low as 160000. I got selected in an company in which gave my interview off campus.

For the 1st year, the overall fees were 137000 and for the rest 3 years, the overall fees became approximately 127000. Most of the students got the Odisha State scholarship formerly known as Prerana Scholarship. And there was another scholarship called Medhabruti.

I would like to tell the truth that the campus life was really bad as compared to other colleges. There was no certainty of having an annual fest or tech fest. And the college didn't even have any clubs. The college didn't have many books and journals. And the sports and extracurricular activities were not given any priority.

The hostel rooms were good every room had a separate attached bathroom. But our hostel mesh or canteen provided the food. The food quality was really bad and they never listened to us about changing the menu.
