Likes

We have eminent faculty. The faculty is very cooperative and understanding. The overall building of the college is well maintained and provides many facilities such as library, lab, and office staff is very familiar.

Dislikes

Only thing I disliked is there is no phone facility like any time we call at the office phone , nobody picks up the call

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of Commerce degree provides various useful information. I always had keen interest in Commerce and pursuing bcom degree helped me acquire a vast amount of knowledge related to commerce, accountancy, Economics, Financial Management and Mathematics. It helped me grow in commerce field very well.

Likes

The size of the classrooms is pretty nice.
Courses in this college is very affordable. The ratio of boys and girls are75:25
You can focus on other courses along with your college as the attendance percentage is low.

Dislikes

The campus is smaller than other colleges
No regularity of classes. Sometimes the syllabus is not even completed
The location of the college is not so pleasant

The exams are of 3 hrs I always wanted to study about business that influenced me to opt for this course. The exams are not so difficult if the student have even a little idea of the syllabus. He/sShe will pass

Friendly and helpfull teachers and seniors

Because I was a commerce student I took this course There are many students. The teachers are friendly and help as many times as I want. Exams are every 6 months as of the semister system. I love to spend my leisure time in the cafeteria

Our intrastructure is little poor. the campus doesnot hold the number of hostels it should hold for students

Faculty of this college is very good and they are humble and they are available always. 3.there are well qualified and as far as teaching is concern they are good. 4. As exam point there are internal exam is conducted by the college for every quarter.

Placement Experience:

Because we're in B.Com Hons so many more commerce students prefer higher studies after B.Com and our college provides science and law students have the chance of internship and placement for jobs. the highest package of a law student gets 8 lac per annum.

Student's Review On Surendranath College, Kolkata

Remarks:

Notable alumi, Comes under Calcutta University, Renowned college, Good faculty, Within traveling distance from home. Surendranath college is situated in the heart of Kolkata within walking distance from Sealdah station. So is easily approachable by the students.

Remarks:

Not a good College but its good in its own way. Yeah they have many facilities but many things are lacking like proper games room facilities loan and many more things its a req to the college that to do well in future.

I love my college

Remarks:

Only the negative thing that i don't like is that our college is too old and our college buildings are not in good position. They need to upgrade and also college classes are not clean and their are less amount of official staff.
