Because we're in B.Com Hons so many more commerce students prefer higher studies after B.Com and our college provides science and law students have the chance of internship and placement for jobs. the highest package of a law student gets 8 lac per annum.

Not known, I really don't know about the placement process but while doing research about the college before taking admission, I came to know that almost 50-60% students get placement and there is a high chance that the maximum salary offered can be Rs20,000 per month in BA, B.Sc and other courses. For management students, the salary offered is up to Rs25,000 per month, and for B.Com Honours students, the minimum salary offered is Rs10,000 per month for the junior post.

The college does not provide any job opportunities to the B.A. students but for B.Com. students the college is providing the job offers of 4LPA to 60% of the students. But for us the college is providing various internships offers and as a result we can develop our skills through the internships. The college authority is really working hard to get the big companies and provide the job and internships to us so that we can be more and more industry ready and earn our lives.

The job opportunities are not for the B.A. students, B.Com students can get the job opportunities like 60% of the students got placed last year. But for us the college is providing the internship offers that we can grab easily and these are all paid internship offers. The placement department is doing well to get placed the students according to their choices and skills.

Calcutta University have recently concluded the first phase of recruitment where a lot of companies visited to get hold of the new graduates. They even offered a good salary package. However, it should be noted that a huge chunk of CU graduates rejected offers to join startups and new-age tech companies.A final-year Bcom Calcutta student, Ashutosh Kumar landed a job with an attractive salary from an MNC which he declined to come on board with ePlane.ai. The startup has been founded by Ashutosh's senior Pranjal Mehta. The 21-year old joined his senior when he was in his first year at CU and as the startup was developing on campus, Kumar would visit the lab to work with Mehta.
