Placement Experience:
There is a proctive college placement cell tied to every department and every semester/batch students via a placement coordinator who facilitates communication between the cell and students.
Students are eligible for paid internships early in their college tenure, with placements following later.
KPMG, upGrad Campus, Collegedunia, Deloitte are some of the large number of visiting companies and they offer guaranteed placements.

- I like my teachers, some of them are great and teach with conceptual clarity.
- I like the kind of crowd that we are surrounded with.

- I dislike the slow administration process of our college
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements on the 3rd year, we have decent placement opportunities but not the best, highest package is around 15 lakhs. Companies that visit are Bain and Co., Urban Clap etc. average package is around 5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree are getting into a master's programme and pursuing research.

- ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
- quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
- college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding
Dislikes
- our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
- there is a language barrier between students and teachers
- EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative
Course Curriculum Overview:
this course is not bound to a particular subject or field. you can go to different fields after pursuing this course. curriculum is good it helps students and practicals are performed in labs which gives a real life experience
difficulty level of exams is very moderate and you can pass the exam easily pyqs are repeated oftenly

- The quality of education provided is great and the faculty is incredibly well-read and experienced. All my experiences so far have been great. The plethora of opportunities provided here is also quite extensive.

Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placement opportunities starting from the 5th semester, and we do get quite a number of companies coming here for the placement season.
The placement season goes on for a year, with ample opportunities for everyone considering the student's skill set.

- Infrastructure is very modern and spacious enough sunlight and ventilation
- Washrooms and overall cleanliness is top notch.
- The food in canteen is quite affordable.
Dislikes
- Number of class hours is sometimes 8.45 to 5 which is too much
- There is sometimes break of 2 3 hours in between classes
- Lack of practical exposure in coursework
Course Curriculum Overview:
Love the in-depth knowledge in the course curriculum however sometimes it becomes too much to complete in such a short time
Real world applications is not valid because its all theory based
Difficulty level of exams is not hard they are easy enough to ace

- I liked the societies, the crowd, campus life, the faculty.
- Social service socities, UPSC societies, a place for all students.
- the infrastructure is very well for a govt college, especially for sports.
Dislikes
- Nothing as such but research labs could be invested in a little more.
- More field trips for practical subjects would also be helpful.
- The college can also built an indoor badminton court and other infrastructure since a lot of space is idle but that definitely would require additional funding.
Placement Experience:
We have a student run placement cell in the college that takes care of on campus placements. Several companies hire interns and employees from our college and the overall picture of placements is quite promising compared to other colleges.

- The college has a great reputation and brand value
- The exposure that the college provides in real life

- The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
- The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
- Low focus on co curricular activities and sports
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

- Its highly active student body, the cliche "DU BUZZ" but with more academic strictness, which gives a nice balanced atmosphere
- The Campus is very green, open and spacious
Placement Experience:
the college has an active placement cell however we as science kids do not rely on it much as it is majorly commerce dominated. There isnt much placement or internship recognition for science kids but it is acitvely improving with more professionals gracing our college campus with new opporunities every now and then.

- I dislike the infrastructure in a few classrooms.
- The curriculum is a little outdated in a few aspects.
- The faculty is quite experienced but classes are a bit irregular.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for sitting in campus placements. After the third semester. I believe and the average package offered is around six lakhs per annum. Companies like Deloitte EY Accenture Bain often visit our college for placements.

- Academically, the faculty is one of the strongest pillars of the college. Most professors possess strong subject expertise and are deeply knowledgeable in their respective fields.
- Campus life at Sri Venkateswara College is vibrant and engaging. I actively participate in society’s events which enhance my leadership and communication skills.
- The quality of social interactions is positive with students from diverse academic and cultural background, which makes it quite impressive because you have a lot of variety of people to talk to
Dislikes
- Administrative deals, processes related to paperwork, certificate, and app approvals can be slow and time consuming
- Courses, especially in quantitative subjects like statistics are often two theory oriented with few hands on industry experience
- During exams, campus, space can feel very congested and hectic
Placement Experience:
Sri Venkateswara College does have an active placement cell that engages with the companies to bring the recruitment opportunities to campus for undergraduate classes. Average package has been 5.5 lakhs and the highest package has gone up to 22 lakhs per annum number of Offer as per 2025 is 213 and 44 companies had visited, including Deloitte and Accenture. The college also frequently organises internship, fairs and events where students can connect with companies for short-term and project based roles internship participation tends to be stronger than formal placements, and many student secured internships that later help them in full-time job sectors

My cousin was a student of Mathematics at Sri Venkateswara College. Based on her experience in the same I will list down some key features of the college:

Faculty- The faculty of this college is without that the best. The professors of Mathematics and even other courses will make you fall in love with the subject. Just stay committed to your course.

Infrastructure- Since you will spend a few years in college, infrastructure matters a lot. Classrooms are well-designed and laboratories are well-equipped. Hostel accommodation is provided for the topper of each course. A new science block is being constructed to add to its infrastructure.

Extracurricular activities- If you are a student here, you will get enough exposure to develop your personality. Apart from academics, this college has a list of glamour studded societies in every field.

Placements- The science students get lesser opportunities as compared to others. A package of around 5-6 LPA is offered to Economic students.

Nexus- This is the most awaited cultural fest of the college. It’s a 3-day fest with a list of versatile activities. It’s the most glamorous event in the college.

Sports- The college has a lush green field with a modern cricket pitch. It also has teams in almost every game like Cricket, Football, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Chess, Athletics, Squash.
