SICSR Pune Admissions 2026

SICSR Pune offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Computer Applications, Business Administration, and Management. Valid scores in the Symbiosis Entrance Test are a prerequisite for Undergraduate admissions, while Postgraduate admissions are granted based on SNAP Scores. SICSR Pune application fee is INR 2250, plus an additional INR 1,000 for the program you wish to apply for. Eligible candidates may follow the steps given below to apply for SICSR Pune Admissions.

SICSR Pune has a dedicated training and placement cell that bridges the gap between students and industries. The cell conducts various training programs such as a 6-month internship program, group discussion, mock interviews, pre-placement talk, and industry interface, with an aim to provide exposure to students.

Placement Season, College Life..

Likes

The People here. Everyone is from different places but all are very nice
The faculty. Very helpful, knowledgeable and humble.
The extra-curricular activities. There is sports, dance, music, gym, swimming pool, yoga, zumba and much more.

Dislikes

The campus. Not what I had expected. Could have been much better.
The infrastructure. The classrooms could be better.
Holidays. They should give more holidays.

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

The course curriculum is actually quite diverse and changes according to the industry needs as it has been made for the students, to make them industry ready. It is going to be very helpful in real-world applications and further academic pursuits. The areas for improvement can be I can't think of any I am satisfied by what it is now and as I said it is changing according to industry requirements. Teaching method is also good. We are taught from pots, practicals, on the board and using case studies too. The frequency and timings of exams from my perspective are pretty good actually we get to have a day gaps in between exams and timings are also good. And in my perspective on their difficulty level, yes the exams are pretty hard.

Campus internship opportunities in various companies

Deshaw, tcs, Accenture, deltaX, Deloitte, Jade Global,etc companies. In these some have some and some are gonna come to the campus for the placement drive. The highest package a student has gotten in this semester is 22lpa from what I know and average will be 4-5 lpa.

Various companies recruiting from the campus

In the last year the students become eligible for college campus placements. The companies that have visited and that are gonna visit are deshaw, tcs, Accenture, deltaX, Deloitte and many more. It is compulsory for all the students to do internship in the last semester so every student is gonna get placed. I plan on gaining some experience and then opting for my master's degree

Fees of the course per semester

Every year, the fees to be paid the college fees are almost 2 lakh. Everything else is free of cost you don't have to pay additionally for uniform, books,etc. there are 6 semesters in our course. Every semester we have to pay 96-97k.

Various events, sports and library of the college

There are many festivals that have happened and they are held every 2-3 months typically there are also workshops that are held now and then and many sessions on trending topics in the industry every week or 2. The library in our campus is small but you can find books on all subjects related to your course there. It is actually good. The classrooms are also equipped with good technologies. Some of the extra curricular activities that the college offers are badminton, box cricket, chess, football, swimming, gym, zumba, yoga, etc.

What are facilities available in the college hostel?

We are provided with basic facilities that every hostel has, a single bed, three sharing, table, chair, cupboard with a bathroom and a washroom, non-ac. Good ventilation. Meal quality I can't say it is nice or good but it is eatable just that. Admission is given on the basis of merit from the college exams in the hostel. The fees are not less too. The price is high.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

The faculty-student relationship is very direct. We can approach the faculty with any queries that we have through email, in class or though the class representatives. The ratio is 1:40. I can't name the faculties there are so many actually every one of them is great in their own field. We got to learn so many things from them. Exams depend on the credits that particular subject holds for example it the subject is for 2 credits it will be divided into 30-20 marks 30 for external and 20 for internal. Very less students fail in internals but also not many fail the externals. The course curriculum is quite good.

What is the admission process of the campus?

I also applied to colleges in my state and the college I am currently studying in. I chose this college because it is one of the top colleges in India for the course I am pursuing and I got selected. The admission process of my college is like this - first you have to give a MCQ based aptitude test and if you pass then you go to the next round that is divided into two parts, first is you will be given a random topic on which you have to write about and the second part is PI. If you pass you get accepted. Both the marks are consolidated and then the students are selected.

The classrooms are well equipped and they all have switch boards
The library and the canteen are also very good

Admission:

The uniqueness of the college course which they provide the blend of majorly management and information technology leaves me stunned because this course is rare and the placement of our seniors has also been pretty well the college faculty surpasses all the expectations

The unique opportunity of staying in computer field after commerce

Admission:

I applied to NMIMS and MIT WPU and i got confirmed admission in both of them NMIMS i got selected for Navi Mumbai Branch and decided to reject it due to high living expenses in mumbai and I reject MIT WPU due to lack of placment opportunities. Admission process of SICSR includes an online exam called SET and if you get qualified then you are called for an Interview round. There are seperate qoutas for special categories and international students. Cutoff for this exams are genrally 40-50 marks out of 60 for the written test and PI is for 40 marks.

I had applied in LPU and Christ University, Bangalore but I chose Symbi bcuz it was always my first choice and reputation wise also Sumbi has the best reputation compared to the rest. Plus, Symbi ranks in the top 3 BCA universities in India. Even Christ comes in the top 3 but i feel it's just cuz of their high intake, whereas, SICSR only has an intake of 180 students for BCA.

The crowd is very good and decent, most of them are from out of the city

Dislikes

the campus is too small and we don't have a big ground

Admission:

i only applied to this college because this was the only college which had BCA in my city and also the only college which doesn't require SCIENCE to be a subject to be eligible for the course BCA, as other colleges require science also the admission process was very good and quick i had to prepare for SET - symbiosis entrance test which was easy and took me 2 months to prepare

The extra-curricular activities. There is sports, dance, music, gym, swimming pool, yoga, zumba and much more.

Dislikes

The application process conducted by SICSR, Pune is both online as well as offline. Candidates seeking admission to UG programs must have passed 10+2 in any stream or an equivalent diploma in Engineering & Technology with a least 50% marks. Selection of the candidates to UG courses is based on the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) score along with Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT). Candidates seeking admission in PG courses require a graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. The final selection of the candidates for PG courses is based on the score of the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) along with Group Exercise, Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (GE- PIWAT). The candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are provided with a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate score of the qualifying exams.

SICSR Pune BCA admission 2024 is open via SET 2024 and the last date to apply is April 12, 2024. The candidate must have passed XII (10 +2) or equivalent examination from any recognised Board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes.
