The National Insurance Academy (NIA) consistently achieves a 100% placement rate, with students securing roles in top companies like SBI, Marsh, Mahindra Brokers, HDFC ERGO, and Tata AIG. Students are placed in various fields such as underwriting, broking, consulting, and cyber security. The average salary package ranges from 12.3 to 13 LPA, with the highest offers going up to 25 LPA. Around 40% of students receive pre-placement offers. Summer internships are compulsory, providing opportunities in different insurance sectors with stipends between Rs 10,000 and Rs 75,000 monthly.
The placement committee actively supports students, ensuring excellent career opportunities and a good return on investment. The total tuition fee for the two-year program is approximately Rs 9,53,000, while hostel and mess fees range from Rs 3,00,000 to Rs 3,75,000. Tuition fees have recently increased to Rs 11,00,000, with the total cost of education, including hostel, reaching about Rs 12,50,000. NIA offers several scholarships based on merit and financial need, including full fee waivers for the top five students and Rs 1,00,000 scholarships for academic achievements.
Nine scholarships of Rs 1,00,000 each are available for top performers. Additionally, students can obtain education loans through partnerships with banks like Bank of Maharashtra and Bank of Baroda, which offer collateral-free loans up to Rs 15 lakh.
