Since the course specialization is insurance and risk management, students can get comprehensive knowledge of the insurance sector from some of the experts in the industry. There are trimester exams in a year that is 3 times a year and difficulty level is moderate to easy depending upon your preparation.

Mahindra Insurance Brokers, Marsh India, SBI general, SBI life, Tata AIG, Tata AIA, Iffco tokio, Cogitet, are some of the companies that come for SIP and final placements. Highest package this year went to 22 lacs and AVG package is around 10 lacs.

Placement is provided by the the college itself, HDFC ERGO, Marsh brokers, March McLennan, SBI general, Mahindra Insurance Brokers, Tata AIG are some the companies the come for placements at the campus. Students get eligible for placements in second year if they have more 4.5 CGPA.

Total fees for 2 years including academics, hostel and boarding is 12,50,000. Top 5 students get a full scholarship based on their profile. After getting admitted students usually get placed for SIP in 6 months in some of the top companies in insurance sector.

Taking about the campus, it is very pretty and lush green campus. Campus life is also very interesting for students specially the ones who stays at the campus hostel. There are around 21 student committees which help students in various aspects with practical experience in organizing and management. It'll also help you in maintaining contacts in industry.

There are triple sharing rooms in hostel. 3 times meal is provided by the mess and evening tea. Food quality is also pretty nice considering it is a hostel mess. It costed 1,53,000 a year for hostel and mess facility. For rental there are PGs available from walking distance from the college campus.

To get the admission in NIA pune, I had to clear CMAT. It occurs once a year around April and the form can be accessed through it's official website. Cutoff for CMAT was 85 till last year but has been increased this year. Difficulty of the exam is moderate.

I went through a PI during my admission process which was take by 2 chair professors and was majorly based on my resume and past academics and experience if any. I was also given a topic to speak on for 2 mins in PI.
