National Insurance Academy : Hidden gem

Likes

Campus, placements are real great NIA is established as a result of ministry of finance
Greenary is amazing, campus is lush green
colleagues are all great. Alumini network is huge

Dislikes

Restrictions on timings, attendance is very much
Strictness is there. No excuses will be heard
Some Faculties dont teach good even though they have expertise

Admission:

Eligibility of course is you should have a graduation degree in any stream and should have certain minimum percentage marks in it. All information related to admission forms ,fees ,dates is given on college website . Reservation benefits are there for OBC ,ST castes . CAT,XAT, CMAT are the exams one can take to get admission here where cat being the toughest and CMAT being easiest. Clear information regarding dates , cutoffs should be provided

Realistic View of NIA

Likes

Campus is amazing undoubtedly one of the most beautiful across the country, which gives you suitable environment to foster learning and innovation.
Good quality students, Along with amazing academic schedule you get chance to learn a lot from each other as well.
Good facilities such as - Gym, Swimming Pool, Badminton , Cricket and other sports , Good Quality food and peaceful environment and much more.

Dislikes

Have strict regulations regarding few things like- Hostel timings can ease that down

Admission:

On a whole admission process was smooth and well structered. Process was shortlisting on the basis of CAT and CMAT scores,followed by Personal Interview to analyze your current knowledge, awareness and skills. Reservation benefits were provided on the basis of government categorisation and regulations.And regarding cutoff it's between 75 to 85 percentile for CAT and 85+ for CMAT.You can get forms at NIA website

Exploring NIA

Likes

The campus has got trees everywhere and is at a very convenient location. There is availability of basic needs in the campus as well as in the locality.
The college is very strict with discipline and it upholds it's dignity by asking the students to abide by the rules and regulations.
The students get lot of opportunities to participate in and showcase their talent. There is students centric placement policy.

Dislikes

There is whole lot of process for just issuing a late entry permission from the authorities and it is bit unnecessary in present times.
The staff is bit aged and they sometimes don't resonate with the mentality of the students and the clash of ideas is usually won by the professors.
The college doesn't allot hostel to everyone though there is enough infrastructure to include everyone on campus.

Admission:

The admission process includes CAT/CMAT scores + 10/12/Graduation grades + GDPI. The students get shortlisted based on the CAT or CMAT scores and further they are called for GD and PI. Eligibility criteria - 60% in Graduation in any discipline. Application form is available on college website and enough time is given for the applicants after the results of respective exams are announced. The reservation benefits are given in college brochure and website in detail. The admission process is conducted once every year and the difficult is medium. Once the candidate gives his GDPI,his overall score is calculated by giving highest weightage to their Entrance exam scores(40%), Education background (20%), GDPI (30%) and 10% for extracurricular activities. The college can work on assisting students in documentation. All the doubts are catered through telephonic conversation if any from the office.

"Insightful Perspectives: Navigating the National Insurance Academy Experience"

The campus is surrounded by greenery. It's the most beautiful campus I have ever seen in my life.
The teaching staff and professionals are from the insurance industry, hence we get inside industry insights.
It's a student oriented University, every problem of students is addressed here.

Dislikes

NIA has 6 semester in 2 years including 2 months internship, so it's getting hectic sometimes.

Admission:

I scored 87.90%ile in Cmat and as the COVID 19 pandemic was at the end I had to give PI online. The process was very smooth. The cut-off was 75%ile for CAT and 95%ile for Cmat. As I have done internship in a insurance firm and had cleared III (insurance institute of India) exams i had very good chances to get in NIA. Any Bachelors degree is accepted from a reputed university at NIA. Tere are reservation benifits too.

The campus here is beautiful, you almost feel as if you are on a retreat
Faculty is one of the best in the industry
Hostels are really well maintained and infrastructure is unique

Admission:

NIA accepts CAT/XAT/CMAT entrance exams with cutoffs of 75/85/95 respectively You can fill out the application form available on National Insurance Academy's website for a fee of Rs 1000. After that you would be approached by the college for further process.

NIA has 32 acres lush green campus which is very much soothing
Academic and faculty is experienced they all are industry expert
NIA's evening are best when you hear birds chirping Nia is a bird sanctuary

Admission:

National Insurance Academy's Admission process is First you have to register for the programme from college website after that you're selected for GDPI based on your entrance score on CAT ,CMAT,XAT Score Eligibility : admission based on entrance test Application form is available on official website of NIA pune There are reservatio benefits n according to the policy. Cmat is easy exam comparatively than CAT OR XAT

Nia a beautiful Campus

Likes

I liked the campus very much there is greenery and flowers all around
College have a lot of sports facilities.
Faculties and seniors are very helpful..

Dislikes

There should be only 2 members in 1 hostel room
Hostel reception must have a small shop for notebooks.
Cafe must be open for 24 hours and also things can be improvement

Admission:

The cutoff for cat exam is 75 and for cmat exam is 85 percentile, you can find the admission form on the official website of college, and the application fees for the registration form was 1000 rupees.

A Glimpse of National Insurance Academy

Likes

Library: NIA has a state of the art library.
The NIA has a lush green campus which is extremely beautiful.
The 100 percent placement record since the inception of college.

Admission:

The admission process was pretty smooth. I applied through CAT as it was the only exam that I gave. The institute however also accepts CMAT and XAT. The application form was available on the website. I applied on 15th April through my CAT score and my GD/PI was scheduled for 9 June.

Admission:

To get the admission in NIA pune, I had to clear CMAT. It occurs once a year around April and the form can be accessed through it's official website. Cutoff for CMAT was 85 till last year but has been increased this year. Difficulty of the exam is moderate.

Facilities and 32 acre campus. Lush green campus
Campus is gorgeous. Fantastic place to be with supportive faculty
Swimming pool and gym and sauna and meditation spots

Dislikes

Mess facilities are poor restricted attendance
