Placement opportunities at the college begin in the fifth semester, focusing on internships that involve job-like interviews with multiple rounds. By the sixth semester, students participate in placement exams, although some secure offers earlier. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Intel recruit on campus. For instance, Fidelity conducts a pre-internship exam with verbal and technical MCQs, followed by coding tasks, leading to technical interviews. Internships offer stipends from Rs 10,000 per month to Rs 90,000 for two months, based on exam results.
Primarily technical roles are offered. The college arranges numerous company visits for internships, highlighting the importance of student preparation and exam performance. Those ranking below 1,000 get a 50% scholarship, and below 2,500 get a 25% scholarship, both also requiring a CGPA above 9.5 to retain the scholarship each year.
Additionally, students with a 90% or higher in their inter board exams and an SRMJEE rank under 10,000 receive a scholarship of Rs 60,000. From the second year, scholarships may also be awarded based on academic performance.
