VIIT Kanchipuram Admission
The college offers BE and ME courses with various specializations. The applications can be filled offline. The basic eligibility for UG programmes is 10+2 and for PG programme is Graduation with the respective entrance exams.
- For BE, the students have to appear for TNEA counseling. There is no entrance exam and students are admitted on the basis of their 10+2 marks.
- For ME, the students have to produce a GATE scorecard or appear for TANCET entrance exam.

- Library: The College has a well maintained library consisting of more than 10000 volumes of books in the field of Engineering Science & Technology. The books are stored in stack area, reference section, circulation section, Journals sections and can be issued as per the rules of the library. The library also has a digital library which consists of e-books and e-journals.
- Hostel: The College provides separate hostels for boys and girls and has all the necessary facilities like common room, computer room, sports facilities, etc. Boys Hostel has 100 rooms and can accommodate about 300 students and the Girls hostel has 20 rooms, which can accommodate about 80 students.

Course curriculum is consist of 8 semesters. The semesters exams and evaluation are conducted by Anna University. Assignments, practical sessions, clubs, projects provided by college for learning of students. There are many industrial visits in top companies like TNSTC, Infosys, Doordarshan Kendra etc by college. It makes us the things practically clear. It gives us expsoure from academic point of view and provide us with lots of topics for research. Exams are hectic because the exam is conducted by university so we have to prepare for almost every topic.
Course Curriculum Overview:
B.tech is a overall good course. Our course includes 8 semesters with lots of assignments, practicals, seminars, guest lectures etc. Industrial visits are delightful part of our course. Per semester includes 3 to 4 industrial visits offered by college. Exams are conducted in month of may and december. Overall the course curriculum is relevant and make students industry ready. Course is light but sometimes exams makes our schedule hectic.
Admission:
The college is new and has just got it's recognition. The students who are willing to undertake engineering despite of not having given JEE exam can apply here, as it's not a criteria. The campus is spacious, green and full of life.

The college is nice and prominent in terms of everything. It has a good campus life. It builds up the happy studying space for the students. I have explained everything and i hope you can consider this college as one of the option.
