Lissah college

Likes

Green campus, peaceful environment,good facilities for BSW and Psychology department
Good events like college day, union day etc

Dislikes

Overall low campus life , small canteen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of Social Work is a three-year degree that provides a wide range of opportunities in almost every country in so many fields such as school, geriatric care, hospitals, correctional administration, etc. The faculties are good.

The college library is one of the top library in University
The college ground is suitable for playing football and cricket

Dislikes

The college authority doesn't take initiative for the sports day and arts .
This college don't have a ground for badminton
This college don't provide placement for the students

I chose this course because this course is special and this course is not available in other colleges. Easy to study. I like to do something different from others. I guess this course is the right one to make me different from others.

My dear college

Likes

I liked the atmosphere the college offers and the facilities for studying
The sports facilities are pretty good considering the supplements they have
The library got my attention since it has alot of books and its the centre of attraction of the college

Dislikes

The college doesn't provide any placements and job opportunities
The college doesn't provide any pool options for swimming lessons
Teachers get changed every now and then this makes the continuity of the lessons very hard

Course Curriculum Overview:

The social service got my eyes on this course. The intention of creating the mentality of helping others by social service made me join the course. This course provides a great service towards the betterment of future and people in it.

Some information on LISSAH College

Likes

There are a lot of holidays or leaves given to the students
The college died not allow any type of violence between the students, especially raging by the seniors
The place is located near forests and hills which gives a great nature view from the college.

Dislikes

There are not many modern spots near the area of the college. The place gives a ghost town vibe
The place does not have many recreational spots
The lack of qualified teachers in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course prepare the students in every aspect required to be able to work among the people as future social workers. The course provides field works, internships, research opportunities, psychological, physical and economical knowledge about the society to give us an understanding about what we have to face as future social workers.

The college sits in a beautiful locality with a nice view
The infrastructure of the college is very attractive and beautiful
The college library provides wide variety of books and do have a peaceful atmosphere

Dislikes

The management does not conduct many programs and do not provide enough money to run the programs
The college does not provide many internships for all departments
The college hostel facilities are not even adjustable

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course BSW (bachelor of social work) is a opportunitable course. The scope of the course is mostly based on the PG course MSW (masters of social work) / scope in outside of India eg: Canada , UK , Australia etc. I think college should provide more internships outside of Kerala Exam timings vary all the time(irregular)
