Calicut University is inviting applications for full-time and part-time PhD programs. Interested candidates can apply online by December 22, 2025, without a fine, through the official website (uoc.ac.in). Late applications will be accepted by January 5, 2026, with a fine.

Below are the admission dates for the doctoral program at Calicut University:

Candidates with Masters degree from a recognised institution by the University of Calicut, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. A relaxation of 5% is given to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories.

Admission to the doctoral program at Calicut University is based on the Entrance Test, Interview, and Viva-Voce. The candidates who have qualified for UGC-JRF, UGC CSIR-JRF and research fellowships of Central and State Government departments/agencies, as approved by the University, are exempted from the entrance examination.
