Vasavi college of engineering

Likes

I like the faculty who are well experienced
I like the campus which is surrounded by greenery
I like the well maintained classrooms and labs

Dislikes

I expected a lot from the college but it's not that as much i experienced
The college doesn't have a campus which is a problem
The journey is hard the roads are not good

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to placements from 6 th semester Google and oracle TCS infosys are some major companies there is upto 80 percentage placements in the previous year highest was around 40 lpa no plans just get a job

Likes

teachers behaviour and their strictsness toward studies
campus atmosphere , computer labs , physics labs
infrastructure and aminities are well maintained and very clean campus

Dislikes

no hostel for the students who came from far distance or other places
very small ground and only small canteen
food in canteen is overpriced for some items

Placement Experience:

from 3rd year we get campus placements. but from 3rd semester we get internships basd on our skills. servicenow,oracle,flipkart,qualcomm,intel,tcs,accenture,wipro,infosys,amazon,goldman schs,deliveroo,cisco,F5

I liked the environment in the college and the atmosphere.
I liked the lecturers way of teaching and their dedication.
The quality of the infrastructure is good but can be improved.

Dislikes

There is no hostel in the campus , so I am staying in private hostel
The college do not focus on extra curricular activities
The faculty is supporting but do not encourage self learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked computers right from my childhood, so I decided to take computer science and engineering. Every semester they call people from industries to teach real world use cases , recently I attended that program and I feel it is quite useful.

In this college I liked teaching of my faculty.Almost their experience is min 20 years and they encourage us in each and every activity conducted in the college.
And the other one I liked is facilities in labs and library which is very useful to us to study and gain more knowledge.
One of most liked one is fest and events that occurs every year with immense joy and entertainment with my friends.

Dislikes

In this college you have to do more hardwork because the exams are difficulty so we have to work hard to score good marks.
In this college ground is somewhat small and sports activities are limited.
College is not much as big as other colleges and it is situated outskirts of city

From 6th sem only many companies provides internships to the students.And from 7th sem companies like servicenow, oracle, Infosys, zeta etc visit our college and offers internships and conduct exam and offers good packages.Highest package is 42 lpa and average package is 7-9 lpa.And almost 90% of students are placed in our department.And for all departments placements are good compare to other colleges.

The faculty were very talented they are good at academics
The faculty will helps in project development
We have perfect college timings and we have enough encouragement from faculty

Dislikes

Some time faculty will not come to class on time
We don't enough ground to play all games in my campus
We have maintain above 75 percent attendance otherwise they will detained

Placement Experience:

We have good placement rate as compared to all other colleges.The 6,7,8 are eligible for campus placements .in my campus many companies are visited such as Google,microsoft, Deloitte,visa tcs etc...they will take according to their imagination.the highest package is 1.34 cr from gooovle and lowest package is 4lpa from tcs.tge placement percentage for my branch is 98%.

Likes

The circumstances are very good in our college and their atmosphere is very good and teachers explanation is awesome
Food is very healthy and hygienic but their prices are little bit more and for girls which are our friends we only want to buy for them so its plenty of money which we had wasting
Library also we chill a lot and got many bunks and left many unwanted classes enjoyed with our gang

Dislikes

I dont like assignments and records which give us planty of burden which we cant face
Faculty want to improve thier teaching skills because students doesnt get understood and spoil their futures
Thier is no better interaction between boys and girls so we dont understlod thier mindset and cant match with their vibee

Placement Experience:

Placements are good and due to corona many placements are stopped and students are spoiled thier betch life but my college provide good placements and highest paying salarys that increase our gdp and per capita income

I like faculty approachment towards the students
The atmosphere in college was good it was very peaceful.
The library was full of books and very peaceful area in the college

Dislikes

Girls our class are very boring candidates
The prices in the canteen are very high not affordable not worth it
The college campus is very small in size is around 12 acers only

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 2.5 out of 5 for curriculum in the Vasavi college of engineering.mainly faculty doesn't students mindset and their feelings they don't think about whether the topic was understood or not .

Vasavi College of Engineering review including campus life and placements.

Likes

Placement was the only thing i liked as they really do provide a lot opportunity for placements
Indoor games room have chess and carrom.

Dislikes

No wifi in most of the blocks, some blocks have.
Some teachers are rude some are not supportive but some are supportive

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year 1st semester students become eligible for class campus placements some big companies which came to our campus was service now, sales force, F5, Deloitte, EY, Etc. in my class more than 85% age of the students got placement above 4 lpa

Good for placements and decent infrastructure

Likes

Faculty are well experienced and there education background is also good.There teaching methods are good
Campus life is also good,we have many clubs and events in the campus.
Placement cell is also good and very supportive.

Dislikes

Canteen could be improved and less seating in the canteen.
Playground is smaller compared to other engineering colleges
Overall infrastructure is good but the area is small compared to others

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester you are eligible for placements.CGPA criteria depends from company to company. Few well known companies visted are Accenture, Deloitte, Wipro, Infosys, TCS and many more. The Highest package of our college is 60LPA and the average package is 10-12LPA. In our department the placement percentage is around 90-98%. My plans is to go for MS in USA or Australia if i dont get placed.

Placements in this college are excellent comparing to other colleges and the average package for CSE is 8,00,000 lakhs
Faculty are very well experienced(i.e. min. 25 years experience). They encourage us in every aspect.
Campus infrastructure is excellent with good facilities in labs, rooms etc. Amd campus atmosphere also very nice.

Dislikes

Extracurricular activities are limited and sports competition are conducted limited.
Exams are very tough and we have to study more and more even for mid exams also.
Campus is not big as other colleges and ground also small for sports.

Placement Experience:

Many companies visit our campus to provide good opportunities to the students. After 6th sem we get good placements and from 5th sem we get internship opportunities. Many top companies like providence, service now, Accenture, wipro etc visit our college and provides many internship and job opportunities.

The institute you decide to enroll in isn’t going to determine your growth. It rather depends upon what you choose to do. However, it is suggested that you join the institute based on your subject preference.

Here is a concise outlook of the institute:

The faculty of the institute is extremely proficient and knowledgeable.
Some professors hold Ph.D. degrees and are part of research in different departments.
It has a good library that comes with many books, journals, etc.
There are excellent placement opportunities for CS and IT students. However, it differs according to the market trends. The campus is visited by several core companies.
It also conducts sports, clubs, technical and cultural fests.
The labs are well equipped.

Disadvantages:

Security is very strict, you cannot go freely in and out of the campus.
The campus is small, including the sports grounds.
Hostel facilities are not up to the mark.
The interaction between juniors and seniors is very little.

Thus, make an informed decision. Go through as many reviews as possible before finalizing. As this will shape your career ahead.
