GCT Coimbatore Faculty

The faculty can be available throughout the semester amd they can take the class for the semester as per it is a autonomous college they can made a rule for the exam and prepare for the exams and the mark should be in a grade system.

120 STUDENTS ARE SEPARATED AS TWO CLASS EACH CLASS CONTAINS 60 STUDENTS STUDENT FACULTY RATIO IS 60:1 , THE RELATION BETWEEN FACULTY AND STUDENT IS VERY EXCELLENT. OUR HOD DR K RAMESH AND PROF SURENDREN , THEY ARE WELL EXPERIENCED AND PROVIDE COACHING FOR GATE AS WELL AS UPSC EXAM. THERE IS 2 SEMESTERS FOR A YEAR , EACXH SEM CONTAINS 7-9 PAPERS , 6 - THEORY AND 3 - PRACTICAL. 40 % INTERNAL AND 60% FROM MARKS GAINED IN THEIR SEMESTER EXAMS OUT 100 . THE SYLLABUS IS VERY APTFULL FOR THIS COUSE . THE INTERNAL MARKS ARE PROVIDED BASED ON STUDENT ACTIVITIES IN THEIR ACADEMIS LIKE SEMINAR ,UNIT TEST ETC,. 10-12 % ARE FAILED IN THE EXAMS BECAUSE OF THEIR LACK OF PREPARATION.

Faculty to student ratio is 8:60 which is simplified to 2:15 The curriculum is very revelenet and updates every 4 years ...student can also provide their input(after analysis ) in the updated curriculum There are 3 unit test , 3 quiz,3 assignment in 2020-2024 batch....now about 2 unit test are there is guess..(not sure)

Student staff relationship was good in some staffs. Few staffs treating students with vengeance and reducing their internals. In my department i had face that issue. My genetic engineering staff put 12 mark out of 40. I got arrear even i scored 65 in external. Cheapest thing in my lifetime

The faculty-to-student ratio is 20, for every 20 students there will be one teacher available. there are 4 years in my degree, each class will have 60 students and total of 240 students students are there and there are 20 staff in my department (including HoD, permanent staff and contract staffs). The staffs are easily apporachable, they will give you guidance when needed. They will help you a lot other than studies also. My best faculties are Rajeswari Mam and Sowkarthika mam, they took subject circuit theory and digital circuits respectively. They teach me the concepts in best way, no others could. There is no staff that i consider dislike, every faculties in my department are upto the standard. The examination pattern will be: For every semester there will be two unit tests, each will be of 60 marks with 6 * 2mark question and 4 * 12 mark question. For assignment there will be 40 marks. The external exam will be for 100 marks. Of which 10 * 2 mark question and 5 * 16 mark question, each 16 mark is a either or type. The overall grade is relative grading scheme. Based of top mark, the grade of other will be decided. For overall internal is converted to 40 and external is converted to 60. The pass mark is 45. The difficulty will be easy to medium, the questions will be straight forward from syllabus. The number of failures in my class is around 1 or 2 in some subjects only.

Personally i liked nafisa begam faculty because she is so helpful mind and react to students easily.My college was autonomous campus so exam paper will correct in college.we will see paper after correction.

Faculty members are awesome as long as you are acting student in front of them. I like the environmental science sir i don't know the name but the sir is very approachable to students. He asks students they is there any problem with you. I'm your friend your mentor feel free to ask me. I don't like poovila ma'am she teaches us programming in c language. Her teaching style is very bad. Actually she doesn't have the art of teaching

Faculties are much more qualified and the faculty to student ratio is high in this college. Their approach to teaching and mentorship is very good to say the least. Approachability of faculty is much more good compared to other private colleges.

All the faculty members are PhD. Holders and we'll experienced. They have very good knowledge with good practical knowledge also very interactive to each and every student. The availability of the faculty members is also good they have very good staff.

All the faculties are good because government colleges so everyone will be most knowledge about the concept of the technical and also the lab assistant peoples are also good they and always help us can Labs apart from this total college will be good having a good environment and faculty are good
