The year wise fees i paid was 7000 For sc and st 2000 rupees lesser than others fees For hostel i paid 6000 per year..and monthly i paid mess fees upto 2500. And semester exam fees i paid was 150 per paper Scholarships are like alumi Scholarship, community Scholarship, pragati scholarship for girls, and government stipend internship also provided by college.

A detailed review on GCT Coimbatore - Most affordable college of Asia.

The tution will vary depend upon the category you belong to. There are two categories : first graduate and non-first graduate. For first graduate, the tution fees will be 4630 rupees and for non first graduate the amount will be 6630 rupees. For SC/ST students the tution fee is 4630 rupees. There is no other fee. This amount will not change for 4 years. The caution deposit of rupees 5000 has to be paid at the time of admission, it will be returned to you when you complete the course. There are plenty of scholorships available to the students - first is state government tution scholorship, from this scholorship tution fees we pay will be credited back to our account. Other alumni scholorship also available. Semester wise top 2 students will be given with a sum of 7000 rupees will receive this scholorship, and other scholorship such as 94 gctians where entire cost will be taken over and you can study with zero fees. Other fees like exam fees will be there, for each paper you have to pay 250 rupees and for lab paper it will be 500 rupees. Then if you are a hostel resident there will be mess fess, The mess will provide food for three times and morning and evening there will be milk, the cost will be 2500 per month. I completed my education with zero fees, since there will be other private scholorships like ffe and ssf can also be availed for eligible students.

The Best Part

I'm a not a first graduate so I paid amount 4000 for college fees at my first year and it will be vary 2nd year -6000,3rd year -8000,4th year -8000.Exam fees nearly 3000 for every year.There is no lab fees. If you are non first graduate category you have to pay only half of the payment in actual payment for college fees.Scholarship payment will be vary based on Caste also they will pay based on college fees.There is no lab fees, Compulsory charges.

Academic, campus life & beyond

The fees is very low in gct Coimbatore. For the whole b.e in computer science and engineering, it's around 16k or 16.5k. hostel fees are also very low it's 7000 per year & the mess fees are 2000 to 2500 per month.

My Pov of GCT

Tuition fees stays the same as this is a government college. Complete cost of my education is under 40000. Scholarships are available for everybody through both Government and alumni scholarships. I am one of the placement representatives for the current academic year.

The fee structure of the college is moderate anyone afford that the fee of each year is around 15000. But for admission you have to give state exam after clearing that only you can take admission. And regarding the financial aid they have alot of scholarship schemes by which Student can claim.

My college memories

Generally we are Government College so the fees is too less compared to others and also they provide escape government scholarships for me I am middle class and first graduate students so some private scholarship organisation provide scholarship for me that is 2 year full for complete my studies and also aluminium staff civil also provide the scholarships for me after so there always pay the hostel fees and foot fees for myself there is many scholarship and complete the studies well
