Likes

I guess Scholarships offered at our college are very nice
Crowd is very nice too many friendly peoples around
Our college good in sports hold yearly sports competition

Dislikes

The college ground facilities are very poor like opening and closing timings are rubbish
It's the last college of North campus and it's too far from metro station you can't walk even if you want to you have to take an auto

Placement are nice if you are active in the college itself but if you waste time and dont develop any skills throughout the college then you can't expect college to place you somewhere it's always yours responsibility to work hard to some extra courses to get placed

Likes

Good faculty with advanced knowledge in their fields.
Nice lab practises,the quality of infrastructure is also quite addorable with multiple multipurpose hall.
College also provides good placement as it brings the famous companies for selecting tye students.

Dislikes

No such college activites like hustel,rap dance performances.
In the name of any function only seminars happen.
Some department still needed development in labs

Course Curriculum Overview:

As zoology deals with the study of animals so from the starting am interested to know like how our body works , it's metabolic activities and how we respond to an external stimuli in such a short period of time so just because of this I selected this course.

My experience of Hansraj college and life at Delhi University

Likes

The college crowd is really good. Everyone's respectful.
A part of faculty are really well trained on teaching
The societies are the best way to meet new people and it's easy to meet new people through it

Dislikes

The canteen food is overpriced. I pay 50rs for a normal sandwich which is a lot.

the syllabus is relevant to the international standards. The professors could involve more practical based teaching methods. The exams, assignments and tests all happen in the end of the semester while in the beginning youre fully free.

Perfect for overall growth

Likes

The teaching staff is readily available for students plus they are exceptionally disciplined with their scheduling.
We have air conditioned computer labs with good wifi connections.
The lab staff is truly amazing. They are reliable and approachable.

Dislikes

The crowded hallways make moving between buildings difficult.

The college placements records are highly impressive especially in the commerce department. The college has an average package of 900000 per annum. A dedicated student body known as the placement cell actively manages all organizational outreach for these career opportunities. I am more inclined towards research and plan to pursue a master's degree.

The buzz: Uncovering Hansraj

Likes

The infrastructure was absolute state- of- art in the new C- block
The teaching faculty was very helpful and motivating
Ease in locating the college and affordable transportation

Dislikes

The admin department of the college does not cooperate
The student council also does not contribute
The principal is forever absent from college

Placement Experience:

There is no placement support from my college for my specific course . I plan to pursue civil services after completing my graduation from Hansraj,. Other than my course , students usually get elegible for most placements during their third semester

A complete review of Shah Rukh Khan's College a.k.a Hansraj College

Likes

The teachers in our economics department are very good.
The college infrastructure as compared to other colleges is appreciative.
The students in our department are really good and studious.

Dislikes

Having classes on saturday that too in a college is hectic.
No hostel facility this year is a disadvantage for us.
Continuous classes on some days that too till 5 pm.

Placement Experience:

There is a dedicated placement cell of our college. Last year, there were more than 200 offers rolled out with a gross package value of 18 crores plus. The median package was 8,40,000 per annum, and the highest package offered was 23,00,000 per annum.

Amazing infrastructure, all classrooms have air conditioners.
Good canteen services and affordability of the same
Various sports facilities are there, facilitating students from various sports background

Dislikes

Comparatively smaller campus, seems congested

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 6th semester. Few companies which have offered placements in our college are deloitte, bain, accenture etc. the highest and average placement being 3600000 and 840000 respectively. My plans after this degree is to opt for MBA

Likes

I liked the faculty of our college , they use very well methods of teaching.
I also liked fee structure it is very affordable .
I also liked the diverse student crowd they come from different backgroundsand ideas

Dislikes

Besides the positive things many things like sometimes the administrative work is very slow.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in my college are limited. Full fledged campus placements are not offered for most of ug courses. Usually the students become eligible in their final years for placements. My plans after completing course is to give rbi banking exam.

Rigorous work. From 9 to 5 , it's difficult to study anything other than syllabus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Under cbcs, the curriculum includes lab works , field visits , workshops , SEC , VAC . The program smoothly prepraes for higher studies msc and research careers . The syllabus is academically solid and standard for a strong life-science foundation. Includes Strong core syllabus with modern biology exposure.

many reputable companies come to our college to recruit potential candidates during the placements time. companies like EY, Bain, etc. come during the placement season. even if students are not able to find on campus placements, the skills and education of university of delhi leaves students with enough credibility to find placements on their own.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
