Hansraj ki ek aur pehlu

Likes

I liked the classroom with ac which is really good in summer days
We get one of the best libraries i guess.
The societies are really active in hansraj

Dislikes

Washrooms remains in a very unhygienic condition
It has been three years in hrc and we have not had any grand fest

Placement Experience:

placements are offered to students via placement cell. Some of them are in campus and some off . Its very difficult for any arts student to get placement easily . especially with the course like philosophy. But yes its good for rest like economics . The pay is also good

The faculty of the College is amazing and helpful.
The vibe is totally enthusiastic and you will love it.
The facilities provided by college are at top level.

Dislikes

The college can be more affordable as it is a bit pricy.
There should be more fests and more events.
The library timing should be more flexible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have opted multidisciplinary course comprising economics and history. I think it is a great course . Through NEP , several other's subjects like AEC, VAC, SEC are also added which are skill enhancing.

Large area,large ground, many cafes in the college also
Wall is the main attraction point, where shahrukh khan is the boss, selfie point
Very large auditorium with full facility

Dislikes

Cooperation is not done by cleark staff , in the counter
Parking is not for the students vehcles.
Authority cant listen the voice of students

*Basically I'm little bit influenced with spirituality so I had choosen this subject. *this subject is very awesome to handle your worldly pressure. *no need to improve I'm satisfied with all *professor taught us everything that asked in examination

Hansraj College.

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is good. Labs and classes and amazing with a capacity of at leadt 100 students.
The environment of college is also amazing. Many plants and trees are planted and beautiful flowers are grown.
The faculty od Hansraj College is very supportive and teachers are always ready to help students. About anything whether related to studies or not.

Placement Experience:

About the campus placements there are many companies that visit our college like unacademy, byjus, Microsoft and many others. Majorly the placement are of B.com and B.A. Economics and they get package in six digit salary. On an average the package ranges from 600000-800000 LPA. But my plans are different and I am planning to study more. Therefore I will see forward towards my post graduation in physics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It not soo good as I thought it was back then. Hansraj has a good reputation in the science field but due to bad labs, the science faculty has gone down. I chose physics as I want to become a professor in physics. Application based knowledge is less here. Only therotical aspect is provided.

"From Clueless Fresher to (Slightly Less Clueless) Senior: My Hansraj Journey"

Likes

The Atmosphere and exposure college provides me.
The LP, AC classes, Practical and interactive sessions, events, sun shine in C-Block
There is a variety of options to have meal: amul, Mitti Cafe, Coca cola, nest cafe etc.

Dislikes

There are many restrictions nowadays especially societies. There is a need to take permission for every single even for practicing in a aloof place without disturbing anyone
The sports ground is opened after 12:30 for other students
The food of canteen needs improvement only a few items are good and packet food isn't available.

Placement Experience:

1. Seating in placement is offered only to 3rd year students. 2. Courses like B.Com, B.Com(H) and Computer Science (CS) students get maximum placement. 3. Othe cources have a fewer possibility to get a college placement. 4. Though internships are available from 1st year. 5. Highest Package sing 75 years is 36.5 LPA while the average salary package is 7.9 LPA. 6. A number of companies showup for placement throughout the year. 7. A decent attendance as a sign of punctuality and a CGPA of 8+ is given a greater preffence in being eligible for sitting in the placement but ofcourse interview and GD rounds or other test (depending on the prospective employer) are must to clear for securing a job. 8. As per my best knowledgeable 530+ students get a placement every year. PS: - This might be subject to the change in economics factors.

HRC a basic review

Likes

Flexibilty in attendance is a good thing
Good campus and infrastructure of the college
Teachers are reachable and ready to help

Dislikes

Low maintenance of the lab equipment and labs
Politics heavily influences this university

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good however due to the new education policy we also have additional unwanted subjects that add unnecessary load rest teachers are good however the labs and apparatus are poorly maintained due to which the practical aspects of the course are ruined.

Hansraj College, Why should you come here!

Likes

The first thing is the environment of the campus. It has lots of greenery.
The infrastructure of the departments and equipment availability is awesome.
The faculty members are very nice and supportive.

Dislikes

Sometimes it feels like the college puts a lot of strain on the students.
The schedule is very tight particularly for science students.
Hostel has a lots of restrictions which makes you feel like a school kid.

Placement Experience:

The placements depends on your CGPA. Students become eligible after 4th semester onwards. There are many companies which visit our campus, for example like Pfizer. Approximately 80 to 85 percent students gets campus placement. I have to pursue masters after this course.

Likes

Campus life is too good vibrant atmosphere and with number of cultural events , festival and ECA
Faculty knowledge is too good and they r too caring and really loving one and easy to approach
Infrastructure wise Hansraj college is the best in du in terms of library , auditorium, seminar , classroom and library

Dislikes

Placement wise this college is too slow there is no placement in ba courses literally could have been better
Communication regarding the administration and students club is too poor regarding delayed in fest conduct, delay in election of student

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers all the basic foundation course for upsc if you are looking for doing upsc optional as hons majorly foucses on one subject and du syllabus of history it covers all the topics related to ancient medieval and modern indian The areas of improvement in teaching could be reduce the extra curriculum subjects such as there are 3 subjects of history as main paper and along with there are other 4 optional papers which we have to be give which makes it tough to focus on one subject The timings of exam are around after every 4 months and results are declared in around 2 months and difficulty is not quite easy it is moderate paper you have to study well to pass

Deep analysis of Delhi University colleges

Likes

The infrastructure of college building is very good
Every class is air conditioned and with high quality benches
College campus is very beautiful and cleanliness is everywhere in college

Dislikes

There are still some classes with poor quality benches, gates and fans
College ground is little bit small in comparison to other colleges
Some teachers are not regular in some particular course

Placement Experience:

In the last year of the graduation students can apply for the placements in Hansraj College. There is a placement cell in college which also provides opportunity of placement in college. Many unicorn and big companies come to give placement in Hansraj College like Wipro, TATA , Nestle, Swiggy, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. The average package lies between 7 lakh to 8 lakh per year . The highest package goes around 28-30 lakhs per year. Average percentage of placement from Hansraj College is around 40-50% . My plan after getting degree is to apply for some government jobs .

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
