Life at Hansraj College

Likes

Infrastructure facilities are really fascinating.
Socities are also very active and provide great extempore
Faculty are also cooperative and supportive regarding all the issues.

Dislikes

Attendance should not be compulsory feels like school sometimes
Short lunch breaks students gets only 15 min to eat their lunch
Counter facilities are really poor teachers behave rudely.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Deloitte, PWC ,JPMC ,EY etc visit campuses and around 390 offers were made last year. Highest package was 36 lakhs and average package around 6 lakhs and . 40 percent got placed this year. Cat preparation

My dream college - Hansraj

Likes

The facilities are very helpful and we can reach out to them anytime
The canteen is very good to have food for lunch or breakfast
The sports facilities are very good which can help us to progress

Dislikes

The college is pretty small in compared to other colleges
Bathrooms are not clean and not properly sanitised
The desk and chair are of old fashion made up of woods

As per my knowledge I choosed my course by my own and I am very much happy with it . The course provide me proper knowledge which helps to have critical knowledge and thinking. My course BA (H) PHILOSOPHY . My faculties are highly qualified which makes this subject interesting

Life at hansraj college

I really love the ambience of college, the teaching faculty is highly qualified. The principal is highly aware of rules and always take cares of the discipline. The working labs are highly maintained, the lab staff is quite helpful. Clear water is dr
The department of botany is very good , very clean all the equipments are available for use of students. The college provides the opportunity to students to study to, to perform experiments with the best equipments and faculty possible, for students

Dislikes

I sometimes don't like the excessive compulsion that is put on students by the principal, over excessive rules are there. The timings of library is not much good. Canteen facilities and food should be improved keeping in mind the prices arw quite hig

Placement Experience:

The placements are given to students of b. Com whereas students of Bsc can opt for higher studies or can be involved with their teachers for various projects which can give them a stipened and knowledge.

An Insight of the Digital Marketing Corse offered by Hansraj College of Delhi

Likes

The Faculty of the Digital Marketing Course is really refined and intellectual, they are very experienced and teach very patiently and cater to each and every student very attentively and keenly.
The infrastructure of Hansraj College is really well built and I find the campus to be really refreshing and calming filled with diversified students, the course also promises to offer very good career placements
The Certificate Course is offered By The Apar Group of India and educates us about the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing

Dislikes

The Security could be more politer with the students of Digital Marketting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum that the course offers is indeed very relevant and offers updated information in terms of market knowledge. It also makes us aware of the plethora of different marketing strategies in many ways.

The best college for College life and future growth.

Likes

The campus of college is best among all college of north campus.It has the best infrastructure.
The main quality of hansraj is its crowd.You will get student from differnt region of india.You can easily make friends.So social interaction is best thing.
The course curriculum is updated and based on practical skills.Focus is provided on personality improvement through presenations,public speaking etc.

Dislikes

Main issue is attendance.There is strict rule now related to attendance.
The fest of hansraj college is not so enjoyful in comparison to other collge.So must try to attend the fests of other colleges.
Sometime it is very difficult to complete any adminstrative work.

Placement Experience:

So college provides campus placement in this course. The placement in the college starts in the 5th semester. Many big companies visited like Deloitte,Samsung, Infosys etc. Around 400 offers are made in 2023 for this course. The highest package was around 39 lacs. And the average package is around 5.5 lacs per year. All students do not sit for placement as many opt for masters.

Hansraj- a fun oasis

Likes

It's quiet and peace environment, it brings a kind of peace to the students in there chaotic college days
The professors here and the non teaching staff ready to help and of open minded nature

Dislikes

The political sway in the college, it is soo much that it hinders the happening of college events too

Here I have faced some troubles as due to University rigidity I was not be able to opt a certain subject for my GE, a part from that the professors take minimum of 4 test and presentations during the session as part of assessment, it also help us to finish the syllabus more thoroughly and I specially like the one time semester end examination here

Reflections on Hansraj College : Balancing Excellence with Opportunity

One aspect that I truly appreciate about Hansraj College, is it modern infrastructure, the College Bose state of the art facilities, including varied classrooms, libraries, and libraries which create a conductive learning learning environment .
other standout feature is the dedicated and knowledgeable faculty. The professors at Hansraj College are not only experts in their respective fields, but also deeply committed to nurturing students, intellectual growth and personal development.
another respect that I admire is the vibrant campus life, the college offers of the author of extra curricular activities, clubs, and societies that cater to diverse interest and allow the students to explore their passions beyond their classroom.

Dislikes

One aspect that could be improved is the campus infrastructure despite its modern facilities, their occasional challenges such as overcrowded spaces during the hours and maintenance issues in certain areas which affect the overall student experience.
While the majority of faculty members are dedicated and supportive, they are there may be a question inconsistencies in teaching quality across departments. It would be beneficial for the college to implement me to ensure high standard of teaching.
Another is the availability of resources for certain departments of programmes. There may be instances where certain departments face resource constraints affecting students access to specialise equipments, materials, or opportunities.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities at Hansraj College are quite promising with many reputable companies visiting the campus for recruitment drives. The college is a dedicated placement said that works closely with students and employability skills and connect them with potential employers. However, if campus placement is not offered or if anyone chooses to explore other avenues after completing their course there are plenty of opportunities for them too.

The thing that i liked about my college is that it give me chance to stand my point. it give me opportunities to compete with others equually and fairly.
Hansraj college infrastuture is very good

Hansraj college was small in size as it have more students

placemnts of my college is quiet good. My collge provide campus placements but all the students can not make to that. But after my college i will prepare for CAT examination and focus on doing MBA and targeting IIM ABC

Evaluation of my college

Likes

Infrastructure, crowd, facilities especially library and ac classrooms
Extra curricular activities run frequently and regular basis.

Dislikes

Administration is not quite good so there is need to improve

Placement Experience:

The students only from B.COM and some courses of B.Sc will eligible for the placements. The highest package is 36.50 lpa and avg package is around 7.90 lpa. My plan is that i will enter in the preparation of of upsc after getting the degree.

Likes

I liked the college infrastructure which is very good.
I also liked the faculty of my department.
I like the visits and trips of my department.

Dislikes

I disliked the highly political atmosphere.
I also disliked an average hatred against n.e. students.
I disliked certain orthodox restrictions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The relevance of studying History is very much for an average person to rise above the average mindset in understanding day to day problems. Difficulty level is quite good and exams are difficult as well. Marks given for history are less than other courses.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
