Hansraj College as an arts student

Likes

The college was compact and filled with variety
Many types of people from all places and religion
Good faculty which often had published astonishing research

Dislikes

Almost no placement opportunities for people outside commerce
Outdated and non practical syllabus characteristics of most universities
Strict rules for celebrity invites and no fest for more than 5 years

Placement Experience:

For placement, it is the 5tb semester where campus placements start. Although there are companies recruiting different types of degrees, the majority are for commerce people. Around 100 companies visit with around 2000 offers and average placement being 3-6 lpa. For English though, there is basically no chance for campus placement

Hansraj - best

Likes

Gym is very well equiped which motivate me to work hard.
Classrooms have ac which i like as i am from rajasthan which is a hottier place.
Teachers are very much experienced and dedicated to their students.

Dislikes

Canteen food is not upto the level which should be there.
New buildings don't have well equipped items.
The time to open the ground is not suitable as we can do practice and play cricket in early morning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course is designed very well as it covers many areas as optics ,relativity, electrostatics and magnetostatics which is very interesting to study .in our clg faculty members are very much experienced and teaches in a very good manner so that we can understand the topic in depth which is very useful in further life.

First the college building which has Hall of Fame in the main building also the popular alumni of HRC Shah Rukh Khan
The Faculties here are very supportive and cooperative with us.
The fest, College library, Sports ground

Dislikes

Small campus causing a lot of crowd inside the college
The situation of college is not good a lot of dirty areas outside the college
Strict attendance policy here students below 66.67% attendance are not allowed to give exam without undertaking

Placement Experience:

Our college has a seperate placement cell second floor of our library . Students of 3rd year are eligible for the placement .The highest package was around 15 laks per annum ,actually in our course only 3 to 4 student gets placement offer .Most student goes to pursue Masters ,prep for govt. exams,startups,etc.

The growth opportunities available for students in various field such as sports dance professional world

Security restrictions of her college to strict
Fee structure for college is higher than other colleges in
Size of our college will have been much more bigger

The student of fifth and 6th semester BCom eligible for campus placement there are various companies visited for campus recruitment such as PWC, Zomato ,Paytm ,kpmc, etc Highest placement of our college is 35 lakh and average packages 7.3 lakh. 60% of students are getting placement.

Likes

The ambience and the quiteness of the library
Societies , and there is a lot of happening in college tbh more than i thought
Faculty is supportive too , atleast more supportive than my school staff lol

There is a peer competition in everyone.
People get induldged in societies , clubs more than studies

• From i think 3rd year , students are eligible for campus placements. • Companies like delloite , google , amazon , kpmg visits the campus and 200+ offers are made • i guess highest package is around 12- 15 lpa and average is 3-4 lpw • Students in demanding courses like bcom , eco hons. Get placements mostly and 50- 60 percent of ratio in them. • My plans is to become a lawyer

I choose because of my interest in Field of computers. Faculty is helpful and student teacher ration for my course is awesome. Teaching method is according to student and easily understable. Term exams were on time as per curiculum and its was moderate if you have studied

Likes

Campus life here is fun especially if you get along with your mates
Faculty is good and the condition ls of classes and labs are good
You can find every book regarding your subject in the library

Dislikes

Canteen was close for almost 3 months which got quite annoying at last
Campus is small as compare to many other colleges

Placement Experience:

So I'm new here and I don't have knowledge about placements but mostly students starts to get placement from their 5th sem and average package can be around 6-7 lakh per annum, there are many high level companies which visits for placements

I am a fresher in my college and i am too interested in my college that seniors are interested.
I like my college because i want to take admission in this college which is done.

Only one thing is not like to me because my college centeen is very costly.

Hansraj -The College

Likes

I liked the teachers very most who are well qualified, there method is very easy and very much experienced .
I like library which guarantee the silence where one can study very well upto 8 pm in evening from morning 9 am.
In our college there are students who are from abroad which gives the idea of their living life style.

Dislikes

The gym of our clg is paid but other clg gyms are free.
Cricket should be promote, no. Of equipment should be very much in quantity.
New building are not well equiped , their items should be there asap as aquaguard, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very interesting as there are lot of topics which we get to know as time dilation, non inertial frames, etc . Here I have chosen because I find it interesting to learn about what is going on the world as from basic to a high level as how chandrayan three land successfully , aditya L1 point, etc this is all about the physics only which motivate me to learn it. In the college we have very much experienced teacher who always make us fun while teaching as how they were got taught in their time and how they are teaching today, sharing their experiences to us to get about how the stood up to this level. But their guidance is very much helpful to us every area...

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
