What kind of interview questions can we expect from LBSIM for PGDM finance?

One of my friends applied for PGDM Finance at LBSIM last year and was shortlisted for the interview round. Here are the questions that he had to answer during his interview. There was a year gap after his graduation, so they asked what he did in that time period. He explained that he was self-employed. After the brief introduction, the following questions were asked. How will you explain balance sheet to students? Tell us something about Gearing ratio. Share your views about direct and indirect expenses. Tell us about Lawrence Curve. Tell us about Debt equity ratio. To his surprise, he wasn’t asked the general questions like Why MBA? Strength and weakness, etc. Overall his experience was good and he was able to convert the call.

Faculties and the overall curriculum

Fees hike is nominal considering other Management colleges. The fees have been increased to 14 lakhs from 12.94 lakhs last year when I got admission. Merit cum means a scholarship of rupees 1 lakh is provided. Last year 15 students received this scholarship.

Curriculum

Fees structure for PGDM is 1390000 for two years in total. Apart from that to avail of hostel facility, students have to pay Rs. 380000 for two years combined. The institute also provides scholarship facilities to meritorious students and those in need.

Average College .

One can spend up to 18 -20 Lakh to complete a full-time PGDM Program in lbsim. For other courses like PGDM part-time and executive program, it will vary. The scholarship is avail to only financially weak students.

LBSIM, is a great college if you exclude its hostel services

The fees are said to hike for the 2023 academic year I haven't availed of any scholarships so I'm not sure of scholarships, but there are scholarships available. It is very easy to avail of education loans, and LBSIM is eligible for the scholar loan scheme in SBI.

The fees are comparatively low compared to all other colleges in the tier -2 list. The PGDM Full Time Program will cost around 1390000 and another program may go down. The scholarship only provides in rare cases.
