Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) offers admission to Post-Graduate Diploma in Management along with a Fellow Program in Management in the field of Management Studies. LBSIM offers Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in various specializations such as Financial Management, Research and Business Analytics, AI & Data Science, E-Business, and Business Administration. The institute also offers a Fellow Program in Management (FPM) for Working as well as Non-Working Scholars.
- LBSIM Admission to PGDM and FPM is solely entrance-based.
- Admission to PGDM is based on scores in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
- Final selection of the candidates is subject to past academic records, Written Analysis Test, GD, and PI.
- Candidates must have completed their Graduation Degree with a minimum of 50% Marks for admission to PGDM at LBSIM.
- For admission to FPM at LBSIM Delhi, there is an In-house Test followed by a Presentation and Panel Interview.
- Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 60% Marks for admission to FPM at LBSIM.

LBSIM FPM Admission 2025
LBSIM also offers a Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) for both Working and Non-Working Candidates. Fellow Program in Management (FPM) at LBSIM is a doctoral-level program that aims to promote research and scholarship in the areas of management education. The duration of FPM at LBSIM is 4 Years for Non-Working Scholars and 6 Years for Working Executives.

LBSIM FPM Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in any discipline with at least 60% Marks (First Division).
- For FPM (Non-Working), candidates appearing for their final examinations can also apply.
- For FPM (Working Scholars), the maximum age limit is 50 Years, and a work experience of 10 Years at the senior level is preferred.
LBSIM FPM Selection Criteria 2025
- Shortlisted Candidates will have to appear for an In-House Selection Test.
- It would be followed by a Presentation of the Research Proposal/ Motivation and a Panel Interview.
- Shortlisted candidates will be provided a template for making the presentation.
- The presentation and personal interview will take place on the same day for the selection process.
- Candidates can also submit their CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ UGC-JRF/ GATE scores for the last three years, if available.
LBSIM FPM Fees
Here is the annual fee structure and other expenses for FPM for Non-Working and Working Scholars:

FPM Non-Working Scholars are given INR 30,000 Per Month for the first two years from the date of joining the FPM. For the remaining duration (maximum two years), the scholars are paid INR 35,000 Per Month. LBSIM FPM Stipend is paid only for a maximum period of four years from the date of joining the program which is also subject to the satisfactory academic performance of the candidates in the quarterly review. Apart from the stipend, LBSIM also reimburses a maximum of INR 50,000 expenditure incurred by the research scholar on research-related activities during the program.

LBSIM Delhi Scholarships
Students in LBSIM Delhi are provided with various scholarships and financial assistance. These are easily facilitated on the basis of merit cum need basis.
A body of committee members evaluate the deserving candidate for those scholarships to be awarded to the students of PGDM
They conduct discussions with the students and prepare a list of the ones who should be awarded with those scholarships, naming a few would be:

- I like the enviornment of my institute and their positive attitude towards the students in various fields like our college supports students in every feild like sports and competitions
- Our institute have various resources to upgrading students like bloomberg terminal,analtiycs lab,a big library etc
Dislikes
- Lower return on investment fees+hostel is nearly about 17 lakh and their average package is only 11lakh
- Pgdm finance faculties was not that good
Admission:
Lbsim have strong tie ups with industry and their faculties were very good and also their location is in new delhi that gives us edge in placement other than the colleges that located in smaller cities. I face rejections but in some colleges i' am in the list but in term of placement location and fees structure i finalize the lbsim Candidates must score 50% in 10th 12th and in graduation with the good score in competitive exams like CAT XAT GMAT.

- The faculties are very experienced and knowledgeable.
- They conduct several immersion programmes, which help students to gain leadership skills enhance their problem solving and analytical skills.
Dislikes
- The total area of the college is too small.
- The hostel is not inside the college. It is about two kilometres away from the college.
Admission:
I applied to and got admission offer in IMT, Hyderabad College for PGDM general programme. I didn't choose that college because they didn't have much reputation as compared to LBSIM, Because LBSIM is much older college than IMT, Hyderabad. Also the placements of IMT Hyderabad were a bit less than the LBSIM, that is why I chose LBSIM over IMT.

- The faculty and the tech based systems that the college have. They have 14 terminald of Bloomberg Lab
- Networking and learning opportunities that college provides
Dislikes
- Rhe campus area is quite small. No sports facilities for outdoor sports except badminton
Admission:
The alumni base of LAL BHADUR SHASTRI INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT is very big over 6500+. Helping you to build a network with them and to learn and grow. The companies visiting the institute for final placement are of tier1.

- Schedule we have. No off even on sunday, and classes till late evening
Admission:
So the admission process was smooth and details were provided beforehand. Started with form filling then after selection gd was there after which pi and then within a month we got the result. All the information regarding the form and fees are available on the website (lbsim.ac.in). We have corporate seats for which are 3-4 lakhs higher then general fees but the percentile for this is less than the cut-off.

I have taken my CAT exam and got a score of 84.41 percentile. I decided to opt for LBSIM due to the institute having the best ROI as compared to other colleges of similar tiers. Shortlisting, followed by a GD and subsequent interview was the process.

A good institute to look for after IMT Ghaziabad and DU Elite B schools in Delhi NCR. Try for IIMs (BLACKI) otherwise look for the next best and if you want to stay in Delhi only, consider this institute as one of the best. The cutoff of CAT, was different for different branches, for Research and Business Analytics it was 60% followed by an online application on the institute website with a nominal charge. Then on-campus Group Discussions and Personal Interviews.

Admission:
The admission process is pretty straightforward and streamlined. I applied with my CAT score and received a gd/pi call. Both online and offline options were present. The application form can be found on the institute's website. The selection was informed to me by email as well as on the website. There is nothing I would like to change about the admission process.
