The total fees for MBA at LBSIM Delhi, for 2026 is INR 17.25 lakhs. The eligibility criteria for MBA admission is that the candidates must have completed graduation with 50%. The selection criteria is based on CAT/XAT/GMAT scores, academic performance, and work experience. Ques. What is the syllabus of CAT for admission to MBA at LBSIM Delhi?
Ans. The CAT syllabus is divided into three sections: VARC, DILR, and QA. VARC covers topics such as grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction, para jumbles, passages, word usage, and fill-in-the-blanks. DILR focuses on caselets, puzzles, arrangements, binary logic, blood relations, and sets, while QA includes arithmetic, algebra, and modern mathematics. The exam consists of 68 questions in total, with 24 from VARC, and 22 each from DILR and QA. In the previous year, VARC was moderately difficult but remained high-scoring with around 85% accuracy, whereas DILR was the toughest section, and QA turned out to be the most scoring section with nearly 90% accuracy.
Ques. What is the CAT exam pattern for admission to MBA at LBSIM Delhi?
Ans. There is no exam pattern for a particular college; the pattern is the same, as it's a unified entrance exam for admission to MBA or PGDM programs. To summarize, CAT is a computer-based test of 3 hours, comprising 100 questions divided into three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Aptitude (QA). Each section is allotted 1 hour, and candidates cannot switch between sections but can navigate within the questions of the same section. The paper includes both MCQs and TITA (Type in the Answer) questions, with no negative marking for TITA, while MCQs carry a penalty of -1 for each incorrect response.
