Course Curriculum Overview
I am satisfied with the faculty members and they were pretty good as per my expectations. I have been studying accountancy and finance since 11th standard so I have theoretical knowledge about financial concepts, through my MBA I wish to learn about its practical implications in the industry. That's the main reason why I joined this course. Exams here are a little difficult to pass as the criteria are 50% for every subject in the end-term exam.
Internships Opportunities
I am looking for internships in the finance domain and there have been companies coming in for internships. Profiles include marketing, sales, finance, HR, research etc I would be able to rate my internship experience if I complete one
Placement Experience
Our college has been doing fairly well in placements and the average package has been increasing over the years. Many big companies come to provide placements in every field and our institute has been successful in achieving 100% placements every year
Fees and Financial Aid
Currently, I am looking for an internship and our process is going on. I am getting no financial assistance from the college. The fees structure is divided between hostel facilities, tuition fees, exam fees, lab, books, etc
Campus Life
Our campus is not that big we mainly play outdoor sports outside the institute. We have been provided with a DDA subscription by our college. There are many clubs based on various fields like marketing, finance, Sports, music, etc
Hostel Facilities
I am not satisfied with the hostel facilities provided to us. There's a hostel outside the campus and it's located in a very segregated location for which we need to travel 1 km to buy basic stuff. Even the quality of the meal is not good
Admission
We had to apply through the website admission portal and the selection process included 2 rounds which were GD and PI. I was shortlisted on the basis of my CAT percentile and generally, the CAT cutoff for finance stood at the 80+ percentile which I clearly fulfilled.
Interview Experience
Yes, there were both GD and PI in the selection process. Students were shortlisted on the basis of CAT score and then they had to go through GD and PI and collectively they were scored on the basis of performances in those rounds.
