The PGDM Finance goes through with providing all the basics of finance with some topics of marketing and HR. At the end of the second year student in finance can choose their major and minor in a finance-related subject like risks and investment.

There are ample internship opportunities available in lbsim. Almost 90 percent of the batch got placed. The Highest internship stipend is 1 lakh by DE SHAW. The best part about internships is student get their desired role.

Almost 90 percent of the batch was placed by the end of trimester 4. The college has a minimum package cap is 8.5. The average of the 2021-2023 batch is 12.42 and the highest so far is 24.9. Major recruiter is KPMG, EY, DE SHAW, AND DELOITTE.

Fees and Financial Aid

One can spend up to 18 -20 Lakh to complete a full-time PGDM Program in lbsim. For other courses like PGDM part-time and executive program, it will vary. The scholarship is avail to only financially weak students.

Campus Life

The best part about the institute is student-driven and we have an annual fest called TATVA. The library is huge and equipped with all management-related books. The amenities of lbsim are top class .it is recently been upgraded.

Hostel Facilities

The worst part about LBSIM is its hostel facility. No proper hygiene and food quality are below par compared to fees they charge for accommodation. Located in a Slum area. Highly recommended not to take accommodation facility

Admission

The basic eligibility of this course is to have a graduation degree from a reputed college And appear for the CAT /XAT /GMAT examination with a minimum cut-off of 80 percentile and Above 580 format examination.

Interview Experience

The Cat percentile is 82.9. I got into this college based on my CAT performance and previous educational background. The admission process involves Extempore, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview for admission.

Placement Experience:

Till the time of writing, I am in 3rd month of my 5 month last semester and in my class about 60% of my batch is placed. You have to submit a student body fee of 40000 a year to be eligible for taking placements as this help out in having events organized outside the college. As there is no placement cell provided by DU, our student body is mostly run by students. Currently highest package offered was about 27 lpa and roles that have come are management trainee, Junior Data scientist, risk analyst etc.

Placement Experience:

The unique selling point of this college would be placement. Big companies come here for hiring and take a bunch if students among them, the students who have completed their first year are eligible to sit in placement Companies like Delloite, Black Rock, loreal, Federal Bank, MRF, and many more visit every year for placement with an average package of 8 to 9 lakhs. The highest package one student got is 33 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is 80-100 percent, depending on the time. My plans after my degree are the same as many students to get placed in a good company with a good package

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
