LBSIM, is a great college if you exclude its hostel services

This course was recommended by a lot of peers and my mentors. The faculty: student ratio is about 1:15 which is more than sufficient all the faculty is highly qualified with prior corporate experience and diplomas from premier institutions. The teaching methods may be a bit lacking but that can be said about any B-school as it accommodates a wide variety of students from different backgrounds. we have 3 semesters in a year and the exams are conducted timely. I won't say the exams are very difficult to clear. If the student devotes ample to study the course can be very interesting

This year the internships offered are good. For finance, many prominent recruiters came and the stipends offered are also very good compared to colleges of the same tier. Roles offered for finance are also very good with roles relating to risk, research, and analytics

The placement of this season has been very good. Almost 90% of the batch is already placed and the average till not is somewhere around 14lpa. The highest package is 25lpa. The profiles offered for finance were mostly consulting. LBSIM boasts 100% placements.

The fees are said to hike for the 2023 academic year I haven't availed of any scholarships so I'm not sure of scholarships, but there are scholarships available. It is very easy to avail of education loans, and LBSIM is eligible for the scholar loan scheme in SBI.

Campus life is very happening. There are a lot of clubs and associated activities that one can be part of. The amenities are sufficient and all the necessary facilities are provided. The institute offers a lot of opportunities for growth and it is jampacked

The hostel facility is subpar. It is very expensive and the facilities provided are not up to the mark. the food quality is lacking and the location is 3 km away from the college. I would advise anyone taking admission to not opt for a hostel.

I appeared for CAT in 2021. Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management being a premium institution, well renowned for its finance course was one of the top colleges on my list to apply to. I applied through the website itself with a fee of 1500. I applied in January and the last date for the same was in the same month. If I had to recommend any improvements, then it would be that the college provides more information regarding its infrastructure and hostels before admission

The topic of GD for me was the future of EVs. There was no written test The Interview mostly comprised hygiene questions and some questions on my educational background with some basic general knowledge.
