Institute of Management and Information Technology Cuttack Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The faculty of college is very good teaching staff and non teaching all are very good and kind hearted. They require more number of faculty the faculty in this campus are very less. The timing for every exam in semester is 3 hours.

I have interest in technical field so I choose MCA,THE faculties are good and having brief knowledge about the subjects .The faculties are highly qualified like they have completed their PhD,and earned lot of knowledge that helps to teach everykind of students.Exams were tough and questions are really good

From third semester you can go for campus placement. Some well-known company also come for campus placement. We have Wipro, Infotech, TCS,some well-known company in Hyderabad. And the package is around 10lakh to 5 lakhs. Last year around 60 percentage students got on or off campus placement. I plan for PhD.

There is very less on campus placement provide by the college but they refer to you of campus placements , the average package is 3.5 lpa & placement ratio is 20-25% . If u didn't got any placement the u should try of campus and contact your seniors if they can give a refferal.

After second semester student become eligible for placements campus placements. Near 20 companies visited to our college for campus placements. Average packages given by companies is 4lpa. 40 to 50% of students get College campus placement. After getting my degree I want to do a job in IT sector.

I opt this course for my future placements and a well-salaried job. Our college has 150 students in the MBA course and for that many students, we have 15 teachers. All of our faculty are well-talented and have a brief knowledge of their subjects. Exams are not so difficult. You can easily pass the exam if you prepare.

I want to be a full-time software engineer that's why I opt this course. The ratio is very poor. For 120 students there are only 5 teachers. Only one teacher is from phd background. Exams are not so difficult.

College is facing some problems because of the government but otherwise, everything is good. The campuses, and facilities everyone is very helpful. We have 3 courses MBA, MCA &M.TECH. Every course has some faculty members. We need more classrooms One room is not sufficient for 94 students

After 3rd semester you will get the chance to opt for placement. This college doesn't provide much placement but it's better than other government colleges. As there is a lockdown since 2020, this year students didn't get much chance for placement.

IMIT, Cuttack provides both on and off-campus placements in reputated companies like Flipkart, Axis Bank, Bajaj finance, etc. Students become eligible for placement from 3rd-semester i,e second year. Every year more than 90 percent of students get placements. My plan after getting my MBA degree is to get placed in a reputated company with a good salary package.
