Course Curriculum Overview

I want to be a full-time software engineer that's why I opt this course. The ratio is very poor. For 120 students there are only 5 teachers. Only one teacher is from phd background. Exams are not so difficult.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any fee hikes. Our college offers a decent amount of course fees. Now I'm getting the benefits of the odisha state scholarship. The scholarship is an odisha state scholarship under postgraduate.

Campus Life

I am in my first year. Till now college did not conduct any kind of annual event or fest. Our library has quite good and has a decent amount of books available for everyone. Classrooms are clean and have proper air conditioning. Surprisingly there are no sports or extracurricular activities on our campus. Only one club is present i.e coding club

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are quite good. But the meal quality is manageable, don't expect anything good from the hostel. To get admission in the hostel first you have to get admission in the college and after then according to the rank you are selected for the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 45000 per year

Admission

To get admission to this college we have to get at least 400 ranks in ojee. I got 273 ranks in Ojee. I've found all the information on the college website. As I am obc I did not get any reservation benefits.

My experience in IMIT

I had applied for a total of 10 colleges as I didn't secure much good rank in OJEE (1800). In 3rd allotment, I got a seat in IMIT. They take admissions through quota but I had joined in the general category. They just consider the OJEE rank for admission. After 2nd allotment you have to book a seat by depositing 10000 else you won't get the chance to apply for the 3rd round.
