Remarks

I had applied for a total of 10 colleges as I didn't secure much good rank in OJEE (1800). In 3rd allotment, I got a seat in IMIT. They take admissions through quota but I had joined in the general category. They just consider the OJEE rank for admission. After 2nd allotment you have to book a seat by depositing 10000 else you won't get the chance to apply for the 3rd round. After getting an admission letter I went to the college on the specified date and submitted the required documents and the admission process is done.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are teachers for each paper. The no. of contractual faculties are more but the teaching environment is really good. They just take every class regularly and complete the syllabus. Teachers are very cooperative. You will get a total of 8 internals and 4 semesters in 2 years.

Placement Experience

2.5

After 3rd semester you will get the chance to opt for placement. This college doesn't provide much placement but it's better than other government colleges. As there is a lockdown since 2020, this year students didn't get much chance for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is 75000 for 2 years ( It's only the course fee - 5000 in seat allotment + 35000 + 35000 ) .IMIT has the best feasible fee structure as compared to other colleges. You will get the facility of Scholarship. I had opted for Pragati scholarship.

Campus Life

There are no facilities for sports in this college . The problem is now the college has moved to another place as govt. has taken its building for extension of the medical. The college campus is not that much good if you compare it to the old one but classrooms are clean spacious. Due to lockdown I had gone to the college only for 2 months.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides hostel room according to the OJEE rank. I think they charge a bit high prices for a meal but the food is really good. The college is out of the town so you will get a PG or private hostel at a distance of 6 km.

Hostel Fee: INR 66500 per year

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible after completing their internships. Generally after the 2nd semester students start to sit for the campus process. Companies like: Federal Bank, Axis Bank, Big Basket, SBI securities, Yash Technologies, In2IT, Asian Paints etc visit for hiring top talents from this college. Almost every student gets placed and further assistance is provided too. Majority of the students pursue their corporate career after getting placed, while some also go for higher studies. Others also ppt for entrepreneurship opportunities. Highest Package: 16.2 lpa Average Package : 4.5-5 lpa

Likes

It has state-of-the-art architecture with a blend of culture
Has highly talented professors along with efficient pedagogy
AI enabled classrooms, great cohort and learning environment

Dislikes

The food provided at the mess can be improved to some extent

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

The night life if good, and for me gym is the best part
The faculties have good experience and teaching skills
The mess food is also good as of what is expected as stereotype.

Dislikes

The classes some time are too much to handle
The n number of rules and regulations regarding the hostal
The basketball court and cricket ground could have been better

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is all about management where I get to learn how to manage time with daily n number of activities. Because PGDM course is actually to prepare a person for corporate life. And this course is actually a corporate simulation with education.

I was having prior experience in HR, so i took the course to enrich my knowledge 1:30 was the faculty-to-student ratio all the faculty were experienced in their domain with vast domain knowledge. The exam schedule was tough, and various exams used to happen on a daily basis with term exams at the end

Campus life is quite interesting with activities happening every month
Renowned faculty is there to guide us and the lesson plans include a lot of practical thinking
Placement is decent and plenty of renowned companies come on campus.

Dislikes

Time crunch. With so many activities students often feel burnt out

Placement Experience:

By 5th semester the student is eligible for final campus placements. There are more than 50 companies that visit the campus and the college boasts a 100% placement record. The highest package is 72lpa and the median is around 20lpa.

One of the best institution for management studies.

Admission:

I got admission to this college by taking the OJEE entrance exam, so I was exempted from taking the entrance exam like MAT, CAT, etc. And then, after my OJEE results were declared, I fill out the application form of this college and then, I attended the counseling session.

Awesome faculty and quality study

Remarks:

Management is limited and it is best. Faculties have immense knowledge about the subject and explanations by them with examples are easy to catch. Lifetime learning it becomes.

Entrance Preview:

Test was with multiple questions relate to arithmatic, reasoning, current affers, English grammar. Time was 2 hours. MAT is a entrance test conducted for management studies admission.
