Course Curriculum Overview

I choose MCA for getting job in IT industries. There are two sections in MCA department. All faculties are well trained and interact with students. Education qualities very good. In our college semester examination conducted by BPUT University. There are four semesters held in 2 years of MCA course.

Class Size: 105Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

After second semester student become eligible for placements campus placements. Near 20 companies visited to our college for campus placements. Average packages given by companies is 4lpa. 40 to 50% of students get College campus placement. After getting my degree I want to do a job in IT sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

If anyone comes under tfw category then the fee of course relief 18000. You can apply all states scholarships of Odisha to get scholarship 20000 to 40000. MCA course is affordable to everyone cause it is only 30000.

Campus Life

There are many programs held on her college. Such as orientation program, annual function, welcome, farewells, aluminium parties and some festival held in our college. In college library all books regarding our course are available. All sports event cultural event and social events are organised under youth development program in your college and closing ceremony and reward distribution held. Hi tech classroom and laboratory present in our college.

For admission in this college you have to give entrance exam of Ojee. Entrance you have to get rank the 1 to 400. You can find application form, application fees and application dates on Ojee official website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curiculum offers a well rounded and industry focused education covering core subjects like C,java,C++,python with modern technologies like Machine Learning,Cloud computing etc.The curiculum focuses on practical application with theoretical knowledge to solve real-world problems.This approach helps students to get ready for industry level works.While the curiculum is good,I suggest there should be more focus on elective subjects such as cybersecurity,block chain etc rather than only the foundational knowledge.Semester exams are held at end of each semester with internal and pratical examination done beforehand.The exams are moderately difficult but theteaching methods and resource provided by faculties make it better to get good grades in exams.

Placement Experience:

From third semester you can go for campus placement. Some well-known company also come for campus placement. We have Wipro, Infotech, TCS,some well-known company in Hyderabad. And the package is around 10lakh to 5 lakhs. Last year around 60 percentage students got on or off campus placement. I plan for PhD.

My experience in IMIT

I had applied for a total of 10 colleges as I didn't secure much good rank in OJEE (1800). In 3rd allotment, I got a seat in IMIT. They take admissions through quota but I had joined in the general category. They just consider the OJEE rank for admission. After 2nd allotment you have to book a seat by depositing 10000 else you won't get the chance to apply for the 3rd round. The admission process was online mode. I have also applied in other MBA colleges in Odisha i,e IMIT, BIITM, CIME etc. But luckily I got placed in my first choice college i,e IMIT, Cuttack.
