Glimpses of my campus

Likes

Faculties are well qualified and knowledgeable.They help students to improve their potential .Faculties will provide extra revision classes for those who needed , it is helpful for week students .They guide students for securing good scores in exams.
College campus is appreciatable.It is vibe filled student friendly campus .There is large ground for sports items practice ,also had a badminton court . Physical education department plays a major role in developing interest in sports among students.
College is famous for conducting various college events and student fests. Celebrities come as guest for events and for promotion of their new movies.

Dislikes

Exam are little bit tough,students under Calicut University should expect the toughness.syllabus are hard to study and the examination controllers should provide gap between two exams,Calicut University conduct some exams day after a day continuously
The is some times is portions for are not completed before exams . It is very difficult for students. class suspension and unofficial leaves are reason for that..
Exam should not conduct in real time . sometimes students should write more than 2 semester exams in a year

College provide various courses like bsc- maths, physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, computer science, psychology, in Ba-history economics and all language courses , b.com finance and b.com honours .

Good infrastructure facility is available in college, Easley accessible college is situated in town situated in

Dislikes

College is over hyped. It cant meat my satisfaction as I expected about collegeg
Teachers are teaching very fastly . It is difficult to run with them
Syllabus is too wide to study. Every subject have wide syllabus to study

Course curriculum is relevant. Curriculum have real life application.teaching mode is satisfied. It will be better when teachers use projectors to teaching. Semester exams will be conducted twice in every academic year.

Culturally really good for artists. Talents are appreciated.
Campus life is colourful and and campus offers security and freedom to be yourself.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is a little underdeveloped
Semester time table is not really proper
Semester exams are conducted within a week.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Victoria College offers a B.sc psychology which very less, countable government colleges offer. This is the main reason to select this college. The curriculum provides practical examinations which is really useful for job opportunities. Improvements can be done in the textbook to make it more approachable for students. Difficulty level is moderate and an average student can score really well within a week of exam preparation.

I had a very good experience while studying in University of Calicut. The way they conduct exams suddenly after issuing the time table
Colleges under this university are totally student friendly campuses and worth for a good academic experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was totally theory based and this does not really help the students for their job hunt . Practical knowledge for students is only partial based on the course in which they are studying. Students of the arts stream barely get those practical knowledge sessions. But the way faculties teach those topics was really good and helpful

SOUL OF VICTORIA

I loved the ambience of that college. Though it doesn't have very advanced infrastructure the heredity of that prestigious institution was preserved as such from the time it was built.
Victoria college was absolutely my home and comfort zone. Though it was a zone pf comfort and fantasy, I learned a lot of life lessons apart from the syllabus. I met different type of people and engaged in different activities.
My teachers were also a plus. They were true guiders for me. Not only for studies, I depended them for many aspects. Truly loved 3 years of experience there!

Dislikes

Politics was quite a thing that I disliked there.... There were competition among different parties which is quite irritating.
Toilet facilities was also quite weak there as we have to travel a long distance for washroom. I thought it would be good to have a washroom for students in each department

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I loved zoology, I've always loved each and every portions of the curriculum. Teaching methods were also effective. But the textbooks was a bit difficult for exams because it contained long paragrapgs. Mostly everyone preferred pointed notes. Our teachers did their maximum to give us better notes and loved it. Exams were also conducted as internals in a regular pattern apart the semester exams.

Best campus life experience

Likes

The first thing about Government Victoria college will be the quality of education they are providing.
It is aided fully by the government, and there are required facilities for all the students coming from different backgrounds.
All the faculties are well qualified and friendly.

Dislikes

Student politics sometimes hinder the academics.
Technologically both the academics and management is lacking behind.
Maintenance of college buildings should be considered seriously.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to my course which is B A English and Literature, the syllabus is up to date and the papers for learning are good. It addresses all the current social issues to make us aware about the situation in which we are living today. Maybe more importance should be given to indian literature than western literature. Exams were conducted but not on time due to the pandemic hence the publication of results also got delayed.

The curriculum includes many histories of the people who coming from below of the society that influenced me to opt this course. It shouldn't be bookish learning it is not suitable for every students. The learning should be more from the field. There is 2 sem exams in one year that appear very difficulty for students to cover theri syllabus

The campus itself exclude an extraordinary brilliance. The scenery is beautiful and can calm the minds of students
Departments keep harmonious relationships between them.
Teachers are very friendly and cooperative .

Dislikes

There will be strikes or protests anytime.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's the course I could get into with my marks. There is no problem with faculties as they are highly educated and mostly well-mannered. There is library with many books for the reference purpose of the students. There will be a semester exam at the end of every semester. Mostly of the courses would have about six semesters .

I selected this course because it was very using full for future studies and I decided to attend UPSC or the civil service examination the exam was very hard in the twelfth standard time so we need to score full marks to get admission to this college The teachers are qualified here and also helpful.
