City College of Commerce and Business Administration Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

By the end of 6th semester students are placed in some of the companies which visits the campus Companies like ICICI bank , axis bank does placement in the college. Average package is around 250000 per anum and highest is around 1200000 per anum. 70-75 % students get placed every year roughly. I will be a marketing manager after completing my degree.

was already interested in his course and was ready to find out a college for better evolution in this course.So, relativly got this college which had only 2 couses to teach BBA and Bcom . It was a wonderfull experience there.

Doing bcom here was the best decision i made iny life as the fees was really reasonable and secondly came from a renowned university. The course I did i.e. BCom hons. was the best course given by the college and it helped me grasp knowledge about many things in my life which will help me with my MBA as well.

Though they do not provide any on campus placements but you can get guidence from the teachers on how to apply of campus. They groom you for how you can apply for off campus drives. certain mock placement trainings are given so that you can apply in off campus drives.

I chose B.com honours because i wanted to study MBA after Doing bba but couldn't because of financial problems. So i did less costly B.com hons to support my family after which i can also do MBA the faculty is very good and overly qualified. Term exams were easy.

I opt for this course as I love commerce,the faculties are great every teacher is very well mannered and gives good attention to every students,exams are done in every 6 months or as per decided by calcuta University,. There are 5 sections and each section contains around 150-200.

I choose this course because I want to do financial things in my career. The faculty is moderate but as you can tell ratio of faculty and students are like 1:50. Qualification of the faculty is above b.ed and they teach well but sometimes they don't come to classes. Term exams are always on time like in 6 months one term exam is done and they are quite difficult to pass.

The faculty of the college is really good with a very amazing environment, also the teachers are really nice, helping and always co-operate in the nicest way possible. Exams are done timely. Moreover, the conduction of time-to-time class tests helps a lot to prepare for the main exams and also to clarify our doubts and problems very easily.

I chose BCom(h) to attain theoretical knowledge and one reason to chose this course was, I had to do CA so I found it best to do along with CA. The student ratio is approximately 50-60 per class. The teaching method and faculty are one of the best in the city.

I am preparing for certified courses and for that, I took admission to this college because the minimum attendance required is very low more than 50 to 55 percent attendance. The faculties of this college are average. The only problem you can face with faculties is the language. If you don't know Bengali you might face a bit of difficulty in understanding the faculties because most of the faculties are Bengali and they used to teach in Bengali unless you ask them to teach in English. There are two semesters a year and the exam is not difficult.
