- Faculty because they are from the same field and have the best experience and lessons to teach us.
- Scholarships are also available on merit basis to the top 40 candidates and girls have special scholarships.
- The registration process for the hostels is very easy because it is included in the semester fees and it is pretty affordable and worth it for the value it provides.
Dislikes
- None other than less holiday,but that is also one of the disadvantages of being in this course
- The ground is not well maintained and long grass are pressent
- The fees required is very much is not worth it

TMI at time could be too strict and disciplined about their approach to academics, as well as the behavior of the cadets. This may affect the cadets vision about their future in the particular field.

Teachers are good and experienced classes are regular and college is good as I thought my overall experience in the campus was very fine I'm enjoying it too much I'm glad to have a chance to study here.

TMISAT, I scored 53 I opted for this college. Because of its financial benefits along with travelling experiences.

Pattern has changed recently. So you have to clear an IMU exam followed by college exam TMISAT , a medical examination and a personal interview. You are likely to be selected if you score more than 70% in your board exams and 50% in TMISAT.

TMISAT - It is an all India examination conducted by Tolani Maritime Institute. There are two courses on offer Marine Engineering and Nautical Technology. I opted for Marine Engineering as I am more inclined towards the mechanical/technical aspect of ship operation.
