SJEC Mangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students which are in the 7th semester are eligible for placements. I visited 2 companies and placed in one company.the highest package is 4 laks per annum and lowest is 2lpa.more than 50 % gets placed.work in the giod company and then abroad.

The course curriculum is fairly comprehensive, covering core subjects essential for the field. The structured approach influenced my decision, ensuring exposure to theoretical and practical aspects. It prepares students well for real-world applications through lab work, projects, and industry exposure. However, there is room for improvement in integrating more hands-on learning, updated technologies, and interactive teaching methods. The frequency of exams is balanced, but their timing could be adjusted to reduce stress. Some exams are challenging, requiring deep understanding rather than rote learning.

The placements are quiet good the are mass recruters coming and other well estabilshed companies comes for placements. the number of students geeting placed are increasing every year and packges are very good.

The curriculum is very good and well designed it is easy to understand and the faculties teaches it in the better way. The exams are of 3 hours. The chapters are always good and well.

Placement nowadays is Not good because IT industry is not doing good nowadays.when iam joined the college the placements was good because there was less no of students, now the students is high so the job placements is harder

The college provides with best placement facility.it brings the companies like infosys,tech Mahindra,cognizant ,acenture and many more.the placement department works very hard to get their each and every student placed with the good packages

The placement is too good but I'm not looking for placement because I want to start my own business so I'm not going for the placement. The placement staff and officers also friendly to the students . There are many companies that will come to owe college for placement

We have elective sources my course is web programming and mechanical it is very nice to learn web programmings and mechanical class is very fun the seminar and the assignments are the only thing which feels hectic

From 6th semester student become eligible to the placement and placement training is also provided by the college itself. The companies like Infosys visited the campus but no offers made The highest package provided is 10 LPA and average 4.5 LPA is offered The percentage of the students getting placed is bit low around 30% students get placed in a year.
