SJEC Mangalore Admission 2027 depends on the degree you choose. St Joseph Engineering College is an autonomous college at Vamanjoor in Mangaluru, affiliated to VTU Belagavi. For BE, most seats are filled through KCET and KEA counselling. The other BE seats are in the KRLMPCA quota, the management quota and the NRI quota. MBA and MCA seats are filled through PGCET and KEA counselling, and management seats accept KMAT or CMAT. BBA and BCA admission is based on your Class 12 marks and a counselling talk at the college. BE is the biggest programme at SJEC, with 840 seats in nine branches in 2025. Computer Science and Engineering has the most seats, at 240. Diploma holders can join the second year through DCET.

You need to pass Class 12 with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects. Your third subject can be Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Electronics. The MBA at SJEC is a two year programme with 120 seats. You pick a dual specialisation in Finance and HR, Finance and Marketing, or Marketing and HR. What code do I type for SJEC during KCET option entry?▾
Type E129. This is the SJEC college code on the KEA portal. Check the code twice before you save your list, so you do not pick another college by mistake.
I studied outside Karnataka. Can I still get a CET seat at SJEC?▾
A CET seat needs you to count as a Karnataka student under KEA rules, which look at where you studied. If you do not qualify, you can still try for a KRLMPCA quota, management or NRI seat. Read the KEA rules for your case before you apply.
