Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed the course is Computer Science &Engineering because of scope of IT nowadays has been increasing and in our college for now its good for placements but in our batch there have been more than 600 students in computer science engineering, so its little difficult for getting jobs after 2 years.
Internships Opportunities
The interships which in our college is not good they won't provide interships, the students only have to search. Projects making in our college is good because college has idea lab facilities so it is helpful for students
Placement Experience
Placement nowadays is Not good because IT industry is not doing good nowadays.when iam joined the college the placements was good because there was less no of students, now the students is high so the job placements is harder
Fees and Financial Aid
Management fees for B. E-CSE in SJEC is 450000/-,SSP scholarship has been providing for karnataka students, and there have been low fees structure Meritorious students its nearly 125000/-.and it is one of premier institution in mangalore
Campus Life
The campus life in our college is superb, and college conducts cultural and technical fests, and the technical fest is conducts three days at the month of march, and the college has many clubs, and college good sports facilites etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel in SJEC is good if we compare to other colleges because they have high no of staffs and security is good, and hostel food they serve four times in a day, its good and hygiene and provides daily non veg menu for dinner.
Admission
I choosed this college because of it is one best engineering college in the region of mangalore and one of the beautiful campus , college has 40+ acres of land, admission process is easy for management students in SJEC
Faculty
There have been good faculties and bad faculties but i can't include their names because of their privacy, but which the faculties have been hired they all are freshers they won't have experience after their masters they comes and teaches here and failing ratio of students is 30%.
Night Life
Night in college not good because iam a hostelite because our timings to roam in college campus is till 9pm and after 9 pm they won't leave to go outside of hostel and after the 7:30pm the cafeteria also closes
