Good college to study

Likes

College campus is filled with greenary which is feel good environment which will provoke study mood.
Hygiene is well maintained inside the campus the dustbin is kept allover the campus
The safety precautions taken by the management is appreciable,CCTV is installed allover the campus and security is well maintained.

Dislikes

Lab equipments installed inside the labs are quite outdated
The placement guarantee has been nullified as they dont provide placement to everyone in the batch not even half
Course curriculum like teaching method must be improvised even though faculties are expertised their teaching method is not satisfying

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester student become eligible to the placement and placement training is also provided by the college itself. The companies like Infosys visited the campus but no offers made The highest package provided is 10 LPA and average 4.5 LPA is offered The percentage of the students getting placed is bit low around 30% students get placed in a year. Getting a job

THE STRUGGLE I AM FACING IN HOSTEL LIFE

Likes

Like more events based on the branches. Here event's are less which reduces our self confidence.
Good green campus. And students and professors here are very polite
Good teaching methods by giving us seminar which reduces our stagr fear and boosts our self confidence

Dislikes

No free at all late evening classes up to 5;00 pm which is too humiliation
Very high attendance is required.very strict regarding attendance
Less events like 2 events per year which is too low

Placement Experience:

Most of the students here who completed EEE here. Are not getting placed. Placement here is too poor as I expected. I don't expect to get placed here rather I wish to start my own business in this stream

About my good college.

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very very good.
While I coming for admission all the staff were treated in good way with respect.
Washroom facilities are very good, cleaners clean neatly

Dislikes

We get lift at morning when we are late.
They give so many assignments to write and read
Some teachers make target on one student if they are weak in studies

Placement Experience:

In 5th semester itself will start placement traing and some students will also get placement.the student should have CGPA nearly 7 out of 10 so they are eligible and the student should not have any backlogs.

A day in SJEC

Likes

Very clean campus is there and nature is good
Faculties are also good they dont have any issue
Knowledge full programs are conducted no issue

Dislikes

In the campus the securities are don’t respect to the students
Some teachers are targetting students for some issues
We hate the timings of the college and college hostel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am first intrested in computer science engineering but my parents and family members told me about electrical engineering and also i am also searched and thinked about cource and i take the electrical engineering

The campus is great and the facilities are good too . The main canteen is mid . there's a Nescafe stall which is too good and the castle cafe is 7/10. The campus is big about 26acres .
The faculty is supportive and encouraging
It also encourages sports and ncc . There's gym facilities too both for girls and boys

Dislikes

There's no much events to participate in.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students are eligible for placement although they can start internship from 5th semester itself. The highest package was 24lpa and on average it is 4to 10lpa . In electrical percentage of placement was 70%in I'm not wrong . I'm planning to start working

In this campus every faculty abd management staffs guide us in very helpful manner if anything is wrong they would guide us
Majority is chritanity staffs and being christ they are very helpful and kind
In campus there is everything needed there is notjinv to go outside the campus for food as well as stationary including veg and non veg

Dislikes

Stationary is too far from the blocks and we have to go too long for that it will tale nearly 15 mins yo go out there and come back
They can make separate court for kabbadi as it is in the volleyball court they are merged

Placement Experience:

Placement in our collage is very good you'll certainly get Placement in any companies. Well im in 1st year but my seniors whonare in 3rd and 4 th year they have got Placement in very good companies and a huge amount of salary . Here in our collage they'll start us to preapre for the interview from 1 stbyear itself and they also teach us how to make resume

Beautiful life st joseph engineering college

Likes

Campus is so beautiful it covered with greenery surrounded with trees everywhere and also clean champus and also it is far 8km from city there is no distrubance of sound or traffic in the area near to college champus
Tge faculty is good many are phd holders
Lot of support for extracurricular activities and also for sports

Dislikes

Less college events for a year less programs held for cultural
More fees compared to other colleges in the city
Classes till 5 and strict rules to be followed

Placement Experience:

Form 6th sem students are eligible for job placements lot of company come for placement like tcs, Mahindra tech, Infosys, Accenture etc. My plans are to get a placement or go for higher studies in abroad

St Joseph's engineering college mangalore an overall review

Likes

I really liked how structured and organised everything is in the college alll the events and lab exams and internals and semester exams are kept in organized manner which each having sufficient time for the preparation of all the things
I really liked the enthusiastic faculty who have a passion for teaching and not just come for the sake of their salaries
The peer group and opportunities provided by the college to improve ourselves is too much so many internships ,courses etc

Dislikes

Very less events like literally two major events in a year basically no fun at all
Do not like the timings of the college at all ..while most of the colleges have really same timings we have eight hours everyday
Very strict disciplinary policy basically acts like a school and gives us no freedom whatsoever

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after the fourth semester . In the year 2024 a total of 800+ offers were made for placements multicoreware Surya software propel comviva 7edge are some of the companies that provided offers the highest package was 27.5 LPA and average was 4-7 LPA for almost all the companies . 80% of students get placed by their fourth year . My plans after getting my degree would primarily be to find a well paying job but also I have a side focus to perceive my MBA

The Entirety of Space

Likes

I enjoyed the faculty, and their cordial relationship with students.
There are spacious elevators to carry you on and off in each block.
The campus is entirely green, and hence the heat is subdued.

Dislikes

The classrooms do get dark during monsoons.
The stench of a nearby dump yard hits the nose strongly.
Certain facilities have little or no knowledge of what they are teaching.

Placement Experience:

Placements will commence in the beginning of 7th semester, beforehand the students will be given a strong session about the whatabouts of the placements. The management assures of the students participation, and they make sure they're well prepared for the job.

The college is surrounded by too many trees
The college is too student friendly campus
Our branch professors were friendly with students

Dislikes

The security guards were too harsh with students
College ground was not accessible till 5pm
No holiday during natural calamity like flood etc

Civil engineering is the mother of engineering in the cource only few college in manglorle have this course because the students opt for this course is less and this college has this course and they will continue to keep it
