Likes
- Faculty is very interactive and some of the teachers are doing it PhD and are on placement teaching us
- Really feel like college the campus is so good
- It contains all the facilities like Domino's pizza and there are various food courts and shops you don't need to go outside often
Dislikes
- The road which connect to is SMIT is sometimes block which cost trouble
- If you want to go outside in the market it is little bit far away like 2 to 3 km
Placement Experience:
The placement of our college is pretty good for the b.tech students like this year they are getting average of 7 lacs per annum but in BCA course it is 3 lakh or 4 lakh per Adam but in MCA it is 6to7 lakhs

- Mostly I like the nature , weather of the area and the campus
- I love the Mountains, Rivers, and the weather of the college
- College are surrounded with beautiful mountains
Dislikes
- I didn't like some faculty member like some teachers
- I doesn't like the some rules of the college like 75% Attendance
- And I also doesn't like the 5 marks are given by attendance
Placement Experience:
Placement value of the college are good in the last year many students from btech have been placed in Microsoft and many companies are come us to visit our college for hiring students like Amazon, Wipro, TCS and many other companies

- The environment for studies is very good as it is covered with mountains and helps one to concentrate in studies.
- Third thing which I liked was the environment surrounding the college which makes studying more concentrating.
- The faculty in the college as per my seniors and my own observation way too good because they focus a lot on curriculum and practical learning.
Dislikes
- The campus is a bit small and have a few shops inside it.
- For any important needs one needs to get out of the campus which is again a bit far.
- There is no more such dislikes as it is overall a good college.
Placement Experience:
After 5th semester the students are eligible for campus placements opportunity. And the placement opportunity is above 95% . Various companies such as Dell, Infosys, Infotech, Wipro, Amazon, etc. come for placement and offer around 3.5 lakhs to 5 lakhs of packages to the students. The highest package offered for BCA students are 7 lakhs and average is 4.5 lakhs. My plans after getting the degree is to get a join to get an experience and then pursue MBA or MCA.

Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology is situated in a very beautiful, calm and clean environment in East Sikkim. Being a nature loving person, this was one of the major factors that brought me here. Other than that the college has a very good infrastructure that ensures a proper qualitative education. The placements are really good here.

Overall one of the best college. Best location, best environment for students, Good quality of education, best hostel and messes, all of the sports facilities and sport complex, many extracurricular activities, feasts and programs every month etc

Nowadays there are many problems like narcotics, ragging, students politics in many of the colleges hence they lack behind in providing quality education. In Case of SMIT the foremost thing that matters is the Quality of education that they provide. Hence there are no chances of any sorts of indisciplinary actions. The college also provides excellent placements. The Faculties are highly qualified.

My cousin was studying here. His great reviews motivated me to join this college. SMIT is located in a very peaceful location, and has a very good environment. Classes are held regularly and the faculty of the college is quite dedicated towards the students. This college is very academically inclined and also has good quality classrooms and labs.

The ambience in SMIT is so favourable for Quality studying. Located in the bank of Teesta river in Sikkim and free from noise, air pollution, This college gives numerous facilities to students like well equipped labs, high speed wifi, sports complex and many more. There are other facilities like atm, shopping stores inside the campus, multi cuisine food court and many more. The placements are also extremely wonderful.
