Review of SGGS college nanded

Likes

There is very nice environment for the overall growth of the student and its career.
The campus is very beautiful and it is full of with the facilities present in the college.
The placement and internship is very good to enter in the corporate sector.

Dislikes

There is no entry after the 11 pm in the college for the student.
There is the limited time for the student to student in the library it is till the 6 pm.
There is strict attendence of 75% for the acadmics lectures in the cpllege.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semistor the students are become eligible for the placements there are many opportunities for the student because the college offers the campus placement the companies like criditsafe, tcs, infosis. The avrage package is 4 to 5 lpa, and the highesr package is 10 to 15 lpa. The maximum students of the cs, it and extc are placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i choosed this course because from childhood i wanted to beacome engineering and i hace interest in software but i got the electronics and telecommunication branch which has both hardware as well as software.the faculty is very good with 20 to 30 teachers e in each faculty. and students ratio is 2000 .

Likes

The way faculties encourages and guides the students is one the best things. Also the faculties are most talented and experienced.
Idealab of college is another best things in campus, where students are free to explore themselves with innovative ideas and make those ideas happens in reality.
RNXG, Phoenix clubs from college are one of the top most impactful clubs in college journey. These clubs are always in top 3 in all Maharashtra.

Dislikes

Admission process from caste basis. To get admission from open caste you should have 90+ percentile and 83k admission fees.
Hostel mess is co-operative mess it's good things to have such service, but it is not worthy as it should be.
Ground permission, students are not allowed on ground from 10PM onwards this is one of the hated things in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because of my keen interest in electronics and future scope, I opted for the electronics and telecommunication branch. The faculties of our department are Ph.D. qualified and have the best teaching methods. We have our faculty-to-student ratio as 1 faculty per 23 students.

A College Journey: A Personal Perspective

Placement Experience:

This year's placements are not too great due to the recession and other issues like poor connectivity. A minimal cumulative grade point average of 6 across all semesters for final-year students qualifies them to sit in the placement cycle. ZOHO Corporation has so far accepted applicants for an internship with PPOs of 7-8 LPS; Hexaware, Honeywell, and Fox India have all visited the college.

The campus life is decent

Likes

The college campus is has a good infrastructure.
The labs and classrooms in Electronics department are pretty decent.
The faculty is well qualified and supportive

Dislikes

The college is located on the outskirts of the city
The area around college is quite backward and dirty with very less amenities
Very less opportunities for campus placements

Placement Experience:

After successfully passing the 6th Semester (i.e. the 3rd year) we are eligible for campus placements. The placements in the core domain are quite less and hence only a few companies have visited for placement drives and their intake is also very limited. At least for the Electronics department the campus placements are quite poor this year.

The students of the final year and seventh semester are eligible for college placements. The MNCs such as NVIDIA, and ZOHO have visited the college offering internship and PPO. Also, corporations such as Sarvaha, Honeywell, etc. offered placements for students. The highest package offered is 11lpa by TIAA.

The electronics and telecommunications engineering branch has tests of both hardware and software so I opted for this course. nearly all the faculties in our department are PHD qualified and they are very supportive.
