Dislikes

Placement is below average and not at all good for students looking for higher packages.
Infrastructure is pretty old and they have very less number of classes due to which many of the classes gets canceled or shifted from one room to another on daily basis.
There is no annual fest or tech events at the college. Last time a fest happened and alot of fights took place at the fest.

Placement scenario in campus, highest and average package being offered

The placement of my college is very average and students can sit in placements after their 6th semester. A placement training is conducted in 7th semester where college asks for extra money just for the training purpose. Usually the small tech companies mostly unknown visits our colleges for placements. The average placement is around 2,40,000 this year. The last year, there was zero placements and nobody in our senior batch got placement. The highest package our college has given was 15LPA in last to last year.

Paid internship opportunity provided by the college

Various small tech companies paying around 10000 a month comes at our campus for providing internships. Usually the selection process is pretty easy but students getting the opportunity is very less due to lack of knowledge and understanding about topics. Students are not event informed about college opportunities.

What are students views about their college campus?

There is no annual or technical fests kn this college but college personnels do ask students to take part in other college's fest but there is no in college fest or any events as such. There is no clubs as well which are usually present in other colleges. Extra curricular activities are promoted but nothing takes place at our college campus. Sports activities are present in the campus but it only includes basketball.

What is the total fees of the course?

The first year fee was around 2,10,000 but later on it reduced to 1,20,000 including the other fees, which is about 20000 and it's charged for remaining years. Students taking admission through management quota might have different fee structure. Similarly students coming after giving entrance exam will have lesser fees. Our college also provides scholarships where students having more than 9 CGPA can get upto 50% off on their fees.

Students view on course curriculum

The main reason i chose computer science degree was that I am really interested in coding and the course helps me in moving forward with my interests. The course curriculum is good as it comprises of all the important concepts from basics to advance. There is no particular improvement needed in curriculum but college can add more practical session for improving teaching experience. The examination is good and even the difficulty level is medium only.

Hostel accommodation in the campus

Hostel rooms are very big and the food provided is very good and consists of nutritious elements. Wifi is also provided . Registration is very easy just sign Registration paper and they will provide you with hostel room if available. Hostel allocation is closed on sundays. Many owners rent their house in and around the college .currently im living in rented room along with my friend.

Students view on faculties

The faculty ratio is not good its 12:1. The students who are knowledgeable are highly preferred during any activities. The faculties are easily approachable and they are very helpful. Dr Balakrishna is one of the best faculty available at our college. He's highly qualified and understands every problem shared to him and provides a reliable solution. 3 internals are compulsory and 1 semester exam also known as external examination.

Admission process and eligibility criteria

I applied to many colleges in Banglore as well as outside banglore. The colleges outside Banglore like Parul University, Nirma University, Gujarat Technological University and few others. I didn't go to any of the colleges outside as I wanted to live in silicon valley of India Banglore. In Banglore, I got into Ramaiah Institute of Technology, CMR IT, Dayanand Sagar College, Reva University. I chose Sambhram college instead of all these options was mainly the fees. The fee amount of Sambhram was very less and didn't require any extra donation or amount for admission. The admission at my college comprises of just the 12th results and entrance exam results if given. The cut-off for admission is only 80% in 12th. The admission experience is easy but there is no preference system. So reach out to the college as fast as possible.

Night Life

There is no such night life around the college area. Everything closes in the area including medical shops by 11 o clock. The food shops, medicals and any other small shops are closed at night. Its pretty impossible to get anything at night. Hangout places are not present nearby. Its mostly very unsafe for to hangout at night in this area due to police patrolling and local rowdies.

Good college but placements have to improve

The library is maintained well, and the labs are well equipped in all branches.
The college provides many facilities like central library, well-ventilated classrooms, well-equipped computer laborataries, department library, parking facilities are good.

I appplied most of engineering colleges in Bengaluru, my priority was based on course not about the college. First i got seat in UBDT government college in Davanagere, but i was not happy with the ciurse which i got, so i took other chance to get the course which i liked to do. Admission process was held by governtment as this college is under VTU, students are admitted through KCET, comedk, and also through management.

Reality of my college

Admission:

This college scammed me at very beginning of my admission, I got seat in the computer science engineering but they somehow removed me from CSE department and put me in the ECE department telling that my submitted documents are fake

Sambhram College & its placement

Likes

Co-curricular activities are supported and highly promoted by the college principal

Dislikes

Infrastructure is pretty old and they have very less number of classes due to which many of the classes gets canceled or shifted from one room to another on daily basis.
There is no annual fest or tech events at the college. Last time a fest happened and alot of fights took place at the fest.

Playing ground is not there only basketball and volleyball court is there

I have choose this. College as it was very convenient for me ..the teachers the place everything is well maintained..before this I actually applied for new horizon college of bca but the fees and other things were not really convincing so I and my family both we choose this college for my bca ...the admission process is very easy and reachable...I have just reached to the college through online easily ones I was interested they explained me all the fees and syallabus and all the opportunities that I will get and easily I got admitted

Campus is clean and good friendly environment around

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good I mean the class rooms are not so big.
In library we don't find more books related to subject

First my parents are looking for autonomous college but one of my cousin told them that vtu is best so they joined me this college. At beginning we went to atria college near hebbal but I don't know what happened to my parents they joined me this

I choose sambhram because it is a good college and had good campus compared to other colleges in my locality and also the education system was really good and i knew many friends and cousins passed out from that college and i had all positive feedbacks from them so i choose sambhram college

I applied for a variety of colleges but As my CET score was low this was the college I got But the location of this college is fairly close to my house and it's urban as well unlike other colleges which are situated on the outskirts of the city SAIT is in Jalahalli EAST so it's very close to the main city
