Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course duration of a single year is hardly 6 months actually. They sometimes even give more assignments and complete our record books and observations within less time which puts more pressure the students . Which we suffer from stress and anxiety. The internals are conducted 15days in gap.

Internships Opportunities

3

Our college provide internships based vtu curriculum. But apart from it they have mou with internshala where we can have internships with our interested domains. So we don't have to pay any money if it is given by college. If we do internships in internshala they will pay stipends for us upto 10000.

Placement Experience

3

7th sem students get eligible for placements. Though our college has not much placements but faculties help us to get placement off campus also. This is one advantage of that college. The companies visited are Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, slk software company and much more. The average package is around 4 lpa and the highest 21 lpa till now. As per the data i got around 3000 people get placed. My plans after degree is to start my own bussiness and achieve in life.

Fees and Financial Aid

Sambhram Institute Of Technology which is situated in Bengaluru Karnataka has two types of admissions one is from the government by writing kcet and based on categories the fees structure is divided by government. The fees structure for general is more compare to SC and ST. The government sets the fees structure for general will be more than 100000 now and for SC and ST will be like 35000 and less. So apart from this the college takes extra fees of rs 10-15000 for skill development and much more. And coming to management fees structure college take the fees of 2.5 lakhs and it even increases or decreases depending upon the management. So now as per my category is general and I am admitted through kcet my fees is 108984 including college fees.but my friend who is sc pays 35000. So we get ssp scholarship from state where the general category gets upto 20000 and the sc and st gets upto 50000 where they have to pay some amount to college.Even the scholarship is also category based.

Campus Life

3

Typically our does not do fest regularly. They conduct fest once in every two years. The fest name is Sambhramostav there will be lot cultural activities like singing and dancing. They call some deligates of some new movie maker. And they even conduct sports in fest and lot more competations like gaming, rangoli, coding and much more. The best place in college is library it's very spacious and there are many books in the library. They have separate sections of books for every branch so that students can access the books easily. They even have digital library which is advantage to the students so if the book is not available then can be accesed in digital library. Sports are conducted during fest. Even though there separate sports committee in the college. They are not as much engaged. But as the college campus is small we can't play efficiently. To attend sports we have to bunk classes. There is one student group known as os code which provides hackathons to students, so that they can enhance their competative skills. They encourage us to participate in intercollege hackathons. They provide insights about upcoming technologies and trending skills to grab jobs. This group helps us a lot

Admission

Before I didn't had much knowledge on selections of college. I admitted to this college because I thought that CS seat is very rare which is wrong. In first round itself I got seat allotment in this college. So without any hesitation i admitted this college. The admission process is very simple to kcet students and for management students it is bit different. The exams are conducted by vtu so the passing marks out of 100 is 35. And the overall admission experience was good.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio for one class in average is 1:60. The faculty are friendly to students so they are very humble and kind . They help us in need and they don't get angry.overall the faculties are good there is no complaint about them. The best faculties are from CSE department like Deepa mam is the best. Because she encourages us to take courses and enhance our skills and she always encourage students to aim higher. And the faculty that we don't like is CSE hod he never talked to students friendly nor does he smile. Coming to exams there will be 2 internals of each subject 25 marks every sem and a sem exam. Students failing depends on them because the faculty here try their best to teach and provide study materials and if students refer that they will pass. But atleast 20 out 60 fail in one or the other subject. The vtu university adopts the subject that are upcoming technologies. So the students can be ready for the future. Like now we are in CSE we are having the subjects on AI and ML.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
