S.A. Engineering College offers more than 13 academic courses under various departments. There are UG as well as PG-level courses undertaken by eligible students. Under the UG domain, the college conducts 6 specializations in the B.E. degree course.
At the postgraduate level, the college conducts 4 specializations in the M.E., MBA, and MCA courses on campus with an intake of 60 students each per year. Admissions to professional degree courses are made based on entrance tests. Application forms for admission in the academic year will be made available online every year.
For engineering stream courses, admissions are done by means of a proper counseling process as per the guidelines of the governing body.

- Candidates seeking admission to B.E course must have passed H.S.C. Examination of the State Board of Higher Secondary Education of Tamil Nadu or any other Equivalent examination as approved by Anna University, Chennai
- The candidate must have attained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved category) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects

I actually came to this college through counselling from the government like i got a merit seat.
The admission process is very smooth.
They just tell me to submit the documents related to the admission process and everything is done automatically by them.

The admission process was quite smooth as I got my seat through management quota . There wasn't any donation for the college and simply the fee was asked to be paid. The faculties helped a lot during the admission process. To get admission , the members responsible for it will direct you to the office room where the application form will be provided. You'll have to carry your certificates and passport size photo for fast processing of your admission. According to my experience i didn't find any issue with the admission process as it only took us around 30 mins for the whole process including fee payment which was online.

Basic interview about the UG and got selected for the PG program. Paid the fees before writing the entrance exam for M.E.
The entrance exam is for the namesake. The question was pretty easy. I got selected through management quota.

Basically, My father's friend suggested this college. After that I visited the college then their staff gave a nice gesture. And personally, I liked their infrastructure. Then I entered college with a government seat. I would like to maintain these gestures during the admission process.

Admission process held for 3days at college one day for payment process and another day for admission procedure filling and meeting with the principal of the college. They expected cut-off criteria of 160% and I met in it.

I applied for B.E Mechanical Engineering at S.A Engineering College through Counselling Quota. The counselling process comprises several rounds based on cut off marks obtained on HSC. Based on the cutoff mark they ranked our profile and call for certificate verification after that choosing college in online mode. I avail myself of college through Counselling and I'm eligible for the first graduate too. So the tuition fees per year are around 32,500 Rs. The overall counselling process is good.
