S.A. Engineering college's very honest review

Likes

snacks shops are super good , they are clean and the shopkeepers are friendly, they also sell papers and pens
Library is clean and properly maintained, toppers get advantage to take up more books.
Infrastructure is excellent and everything is neat and clean also my college is full of greenary

Dislikes

Canteen food, which is quite off taste and there's no space in canteen to sit and eat
Computer labs are full of old computers and some of them has no OS.
My department is new so we don't have any class for us , so we mostly wander here there for anyother class to get empty so we can conquer there.

Placement Experience:

After the sixth semester the students are trained to face the interviews. The Students with highest CGPA go first for the interviews as they get a bonus chance to go to the interview the first amongst others. My plan after getting the degree is to get placed in a reputed company.

my view of SAEC

First I would like to say about the teaching, best teachers are out there in the college where they teach better than in school.
students can voice against the grievances they face within the college in their college website and are immediately taken action

Dislikes

The infrastructure is still being improved and can be made better
the restrooms can be maintained well often and repaired at proper intervals

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from their 3rd year. Many top companies have come for placement in the past years and many students have been selected. The highest pack offered was 18 lakhs and average package was 8 to 10 lakhs. Top companies like Infosys , Wipro , Intel etc visit the college for placements. My plan after degree is to get selected in the campus interview and work for any top companies, gain knowledge about the job and start my own buisness.

Likes

They give equal priorities for sports as academic.
Placements are good almost every student gets placed with good package

Dislikes

Canteen food is not that much preferable. there is no big casual canteens or cafes like in other colleges.
There is no student conducting fests like there in other colleges
Culturals are not celebrated very much as compared to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

Pre-final year students are eligible for campus placements. Many top companies like TCS, CTS, rapid data, kyndryl recruit as many students in each batch. My plan after getting a degree is to get placed with a good package. The percentage of students getting placed is increasing year by year

Likes

College campus was good. Excellent greenery maintenance.
Classroom was big enough to accommodate 25 members
Canteen was hygienic and the food was good. All packed items are checked periodically for expiry date.

Dislikes

Lab is not upto the mark. Most of the system are with defects and there is no proper technician to get it done.
Sometimes staffs are too busy to approach

Placement Experience:

At the end of 3rd semester, we attended two campus interviews. But the pay is too low with 6k per month. Many students rejected the companies since the payslip is low. I got an offer from in engineering college as an Assistant professor.

Placement Experience:

Students without arrears are eligible and before 7th semester is required. CTS, Mavericks, Global solutions, and got placed in global solutions and set package as 2.5 for fresher getting into it. Expecting percentage is 65%.My plan is to join in the selected company.
