While the remote location of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) presents challenges and disadvantages The institute's isolation from urban centers is a drawback for students and teachers there.
The prevalence of too many insects on the campus of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) poses a significant disadvantage. Excessive insect presence impacts various aspects of campus life.
Rigorous schedule of classes classes start from 8 am and end at 5 pm in the evening
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum at RGIPT is derived from the best practices of top IITs, with IIT Kanpur serving as the mentor institute. This affiliation brings a level of prestige and credibility to the courses offered at RGIPT. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in petroleum technology and energy studies, aligning with industry needs and global advancements in the field. The term exams at our institution were quite moderate, striking a balance between challenging content and reasonable difficulty. The assessments were conducted punctually, adhering to the scheduled timeline. The teachers are All Phds from top IIT's and some are even the best in their fields. The exams covered the prescribed syllabus comprehensively, allowing well-prepared students to demonstrate their knowledge effectively. The emphasis seemed to be on assessing the application of concepts rather than rote memorization.

ONGC, Indian oil, torrent, Greek for geek, gel.
Majorly in petroleum or chemicals the highest package is 28 lakh and the median is about 10 lakh.
The majority students get placed at PSU.
The campus cleanliness, security, the care for students , music club and the most loving is gyanarpan (the social council) where we have to help the needy students grom rural areas. Arpan is another best thing which is again a social council in rgipt
Granarpan and it's works for the needy students.

The location where the college is established.
The transportation system from our college.
The 75℅ criteria of attendance for each semester.
Placement Experience:
7th and 8th-semester students are eligible for campus placement. HPCL, ONGC, and many more companies (nearly 750). The highest package is 22 lakhs. The average is 10-12 lakhs per annum. Nearly 80-90 gets placed. My plan is higher education.
I had an interest in computer science and information technology
Faculty: student ratio is a little low but I think they will improve it
Now the NIRF rank is also improved
The exam's difficulty level is moderate but if you don't like any particular subject then you will feel that this subject is difficult more than others
